I miss my life in the hostel! About work : working system were very organized so can learn easliy and they always gave me the right level of work. About staff : They are friendly and always try to accommodate me. About hotel : I liked the onsen. And it was convenient to able to use the storage space for the staff. There is a vegetable store nearby and beautiful mountain too.

Some say experiences are never as good as you imagine, however the hostel is an exception to this rule. Located in postcard Japan, staying in Hakone was like living in one of my childhood fantasies. The hours and tasks were certainly fair. The staff were all warm and friendly, I was never afraid to ask a question no matter how silly I thought it was. With so many activities in the region I never found myself with nothing to do on my days off. Overall I would certainly recommend this experience, especially for those looking to experience the quainter, quieter side of Japan.

My experience at the hostel was really good. The whole team was really nice to me and patient in explaining things to me (my English is really basic). The work environment is welcoming and makes you want to stay here for a long time. That the hostel is in a more natural place is nice, it gives a lot of tranquility and allows you to get away from the bustling cities. From my experience I fully recommend it.

I've had a wonderful time at the hostel and would recommend it to anyone!! The work was easy & fair and you'll still have a lot of free time. Being a very social person I was scared I would feel lonely sometimes but I met so many cool travelers that I never really did! Additionally, everyone from the staff is so nice, I felt like a part of a big family. We even went to a zen ceremony together once. As a backpacker one month is the longest time I've stayed at one place but I wish I would've decided to stay longer. Thank you so much for having me, I will miss Hakone and everyone I met here!

I stayed a month at the hostel and I wish I had planned to stay longer! The staff is so lovely and makes you feel like being part of a big family, the hostel is super clean and comfy, the work is simple and fair, you have plenty of things to do and places to explore during your days off (hikes, museums, castle, shrines,...), the much appreciated daily onsen,... You get it: everything's perfect! the hostel is the place to be if you're looking for a slow and relaxing lifestyle ;) Thank you so much for this lovely time passed with you, the hostel Family <3 I miss you already <3

I have had the best time @ the hostel - Hakone! The team have all been so welcoming from the day I arrived I felt right at home. The staff were all very helpful, the work was very straightforward and I had someone show me exactly what needed to be done for work, which made the work very easy to undertake. Staff are always happy to help with any reccomendations or answer any questions you may have. The onsen is included in your stay and it is absolutely amazing. I've met some really cool people from all over the world in my first month in hakone, I'd definitely reccomend the hostel

My partner and I absolutely loved our time at Ks house. All the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. The work is really easy as well, as the hostel is kept so nice and clean! We're both feeling very sad as our time here is ending and we will miss everyone and Hakone. We could not recommend coming here more, we had an amazing time and we'd love to do it again, just to scare George.

Had a good time in Hakone overall the area is lovely and there is a lot of cool nature for hiking or biking around. The hostel itself is a very clean place so the work is manageable. I got along great with yayoi and pasindu but I felt like saki never really liked me all too much sadly which resulted in some rather cold treatment and unmanageable tasks. Other than that you had cool people to hang with come in often, and the community lobby was often used to chat under the kotatsu. Overall I enjoyed my experience in ks the hostel and would recommend it. The onsen is also really relaxing.
