I would not recommend my experience here. The work environment here was very unhealthy. There was little training/none at all for some shifts, but the current manager expects you to do things a very specific way with little to no guidance & then was upset when it isn't done that way.It was very understaffed when we were there, and heard this was common. We were doing more tasks than what was meant for the amount of people volunteering. The staff room is not the rooms pictured here, it actually quite smaller and crammed. The place has potential but due to the manager our experience was not good

Amé este hostel! el hostel es Hermoso, divino, maravilloso. Vale 100 veces la pena y definitivamente volveré el año entrante. El equipo es muy bueno y las tareas son sencillas. Te recomiendo venir ain miedo, porqué estarás como en casa.

El lugar es muy amplio y con bastantes amenidades. Los paisajes son muy hermosos, puedes salir a dar una vuelta cerca del mar y disfrutar del clima en estas épocas. Los locales son muy amables. Las actividades en el hostal se dividen entre los voluntarios y puedes elegir las tareas y horarios que mejor te convengan. Es una buena oportunidad para poder conocer el ritmo de vida en un pequeño pueblo en Escocia.

No había espacio en el hostel por lo que me propusieron ser voluntaria en Fort William, lo cual fue maravilloso. Los voluntarios y el manager David son maravillosos! Respetaron la horas de trabajo y había muy buen ambiente, lo único malo es que la habitación de voluntarios era muy pequeña por allí que me quedé en una habitación de huéspedes, David siempre estaba dispuesto a conversar y ser flexible

Es mi primera experiencia como voluntariado realmente me encanto el hostel es muy organizado todo la mánager es un amor el dueño del hostel es una persona maravillosa realmente lo recomiendo.
