There is a reason every review on WorldPackers says that this is their favorite hostel. I could not have asked for a better first volunteer experience, and I have not fully accepted that it has ended yet. Every single person I met was so overwhelmingly amazing and I have made friendships here that I know will last a lifetime. You learn so many valuable skills working in the hostel and will never run out of things to do in the city. From cooking, playing board games, and hiking, I cannot recommend this experience enough.

I had such an amazing time at GBL, it was in a great location for hikes and skiing, and a lovely cozy space to relax in at the end of the day. Marzena was really helpful and understanding, she always paid for any extra work I would do and was really kind! The work was easygoing, and left me with lots of time to explore as it was only one and a half days per week. I met amazing people from all over the world, and didn't feel alone at all during my stay:) I will definitely be coming back again, first worldpackers experience and I'd rate it 10/10!

Good Bye the hostel has been my first volunteer for two weeks and I couldn't choose better. It is surrounded by nature and snow in winter is super cozy and comfortable. Marzena (the owner) is super friendly and nice! You will feel like home. The agreed schedule allows you to visit the town, go hiking or practice snowboarding or skiing in winter. The tasks are very simple and well explained. It consists of preparing breakfast, clean common spaces, make beds and do the check in/out of guests (sometimes take care of the beautiful baby many hours). I I am sure I will come back ❤️.

It was my first volunteer experience. I couldn't choose better. The place feels like a home. The owner is wonderful person. Tasks are clear and the owner is always helpful. The place is amazing, the nature around, the interior of the house, the energy of the place. You meet a lot of people from all around the wolrd, not just volunteers but many guests are international as well. I don't have enough words. The reviews really don't lie. It changed my life, it made me be more calm and connected to myself. I also met many people I can call my friends now. 10/10 Thank you Marzena! ♥

This was my first volunteer experience and I can definitely recommend! I had such a great team of volunteers that I became very close to and was able to experience a lot of the hostel. Marzena is so caring and understanding of any situation and lets us have a lot of free time to explore. The work was very enjoyable and I really loved meeting people from all over the world and connecting in the perfect little hostel. I will cherish my memories from GBL forever and can't wait to return:)) 10 out of 10 experience!!!

If you would like to be in an amazing place close to real nature with amazing people from all around the world, that's your opportunity! Marzena and the other crew members will treat you here as a good friend from the beginning. The jobs are easy and you will have tons of free time to enjoy the surroundings.

I can't recommend this experience enough. The volunteers are really fun and sociable, with international and (mostly) easy going guests. There's a lot of free time to explore and do activities such as hiking and skiing. The host Marzena is very warm, welcoming, and caring. She is also very flexible about the working time and follows the agreed upon duration, even pays you extra for extra hours. The only thing I dislike about this place is the fact that I had to leave :) 2 weeks felt really short.

Working at this hostel was the BEST experience ever! It is the perfect mix of social and nature. I met so many amazing guests and was able to travel on my days off. Marzena is so helpful, kind, and giving. She will do anything she can to make your experience the best it can be. 10000/10 recommend and would love to come back in the future.

I am very happy to have stayed at Good Bye the hostel. The experience was incredible. The hospitality, feeling at home, comfortable and with friends. All the work and agreements in the description were fulfilled. It is a magical place in the middle of the forest and nature. I am very grateful to Marzena for giving me the opportunity to share her space and friendship. I have a nice memory. It is a place that I would return.
