I had the most amazing time at the hostel! The tasks were easy and mostly just 2 hours a day and because many volunteers are staying here at the same time it's easy to make friends and have the best group of people around you. It's been my first Worldpacker experience and I would definitely recommend it since the hostelhas a very homey atmosphere and it's easy to meet people from all over the world Also, the Hostel has a great location, it's only 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to the city and the hosts are really nice :)

I' ve been four weeks at the Keiraleigh Hostel and I definitely would recommend it to everyone! The work is pretty simple and you have to do easy tasks. The hosts Karrie and Nathan are both so friendly and lovely people, you feel welcome from the very first to the last second. People who stayed in the hostel have been so nice. I had a great time and would go there in a heartbeat again. I also have seen my first big spiders haha so I will never forget my stay at Keiraleigh!

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel! Kerrie and Nathan are great hosts, really laidback, helpful, welcoming and made my first volunteer experience amazing. I met a lot of awesome friends there and I really look forward to meet up with them again. The work itself is easy and as described (doing beds, cleaning the kitchen/common areas/bathroom, taking the trash out etc) and normally around 2 hours a day with one day off - so enough free time to do something fun! Altogether I would recommend this experience to everyone who wants to help out in a fun and relaxed environment!

I absolutely loved my stay here!! It really changed my backpacking experience in the best way possible and really felt like home away from home :) Everyone is wonderful and the hostel is located right next to everything you need - beach, grocery store, silent disco, etc.

This was my first worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been better! I met so many amazing friends that i know i'll meet again in the future. The hostel is very social, it isn't very big which is nice, cause almost everyone knows each other and it makes the atmosphere more familiar. The job is usually from 10 to 12/12:30 and it consists in changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, raking the outside area, cleaning the kitchen, taking out the trash, etc. The work is really easy and the time goes by really fast. I couldn't recommend this experience more:) Thank you for everything

I had a very nice time at the Keiraleigh the hostelin Wollongong. It is a fun community of travelers hosted by a wonderful and welcoming family. The work is easy and the time commitment is perfect for people who may want to also look for another job or do other things. The location of the hostel was extremely central and everything was very walkable. I was under the assumption that there would be bikes that I could use, however as of October 2024 there were no bikes. In the end walking was fine and public transit was good. Overall though, a beautiful experience in NSW

I was a little bit unlucky with the weather, it was raining a lot. Also it was a little bit to less to do and see in the area around, but that could have been impacted by the weathercircumstances aswell. I think Karrie is a great host, when I told her that I would like to go earlier she was understanding and supported me in my decision. All in all its a great place to chill and meet other travellers!

Thanks to Kerrie and Nathan for hosting me! I had a great and fun time at the hostel, and I met many new friends there. The hostel is so cozy, and I love its vibe! However, the volunteer room was the only thing I didn't like - it had a strong smell and a lot of mold, despite leaving the door open almost every night. The work was super easy and you have a lot of freetime because you just have to work 2 hours a day🫶🏼
