This place is truly special - sitting in the peaceful outdoor space with people from all over the world was such a wonderful experience that I won't forget any time soon. The work is light and the shifts are flexible, so you have plenty of time to explore the beautiful wild beaches and historic old town, or take some trips around Montenegro. The manager Aldo was incredibly welcoming and made everyone feel at home. The hostel is rustic and the facilites aren't luxury, but the authentic and adventurous people you meet is more than worth it. I highly recommend this experience. the hostel! :)

I had an amazing time at the hostel!! Aldo, the other volunteers and the guests were just wonderful and I felt very welcomed! Just be aware that if you expect "luxury" you're wrong here, the facilities are still under renovation, so not everything works like you would like. But if you're open for the experience, you will have a wonderful time. Can totally recommend!

For me it was an amazing experience, the people are extremely nice, you feel like you are part of a big family, the hostel is very cozy, we were quite a few volunteers and we managed to organize ourselves very well, Aldo is very flexible combining work with fun so you feel like you are on vacation even when you are volunteering, I highly recommend it!

Had to leave early for a family emergency, but for the short time I was there, I had a great experience. The hikes and beaches were beautiful and everyone was very welcoming. Recommend if you are looking for something off the grid. :))))

My stay at the hostel was amazing. The other volunteers and Aldo, the manager were very nice. The tasks weren't hard at all, and I had a lot of free time to explore the old town of Bar, and the nicest wild beaches. Montenegro and the hostel are in my heart forever, and I'm very thankful for this experience <3

I am so so glad I chose to come to the hostel! It was pretty slow because I didn't go in summer months and that meant there wasn't much too much work to do and I had lots of time to explore! The manager and owner are both so helpful and understanding. I felt comfortable the entire time and would definitely want to come back!!
