The hostel was a wonderful volunteer experience. Both the managers Aldo and Pablo instantly made me feel welcomed. I was there during off season so there weren't too many guests, which gave me lots of time to relax and explore Bar. The work was very chill and the garden of the hostel is very big and beautiful. There are a few wild beaches near by which are perfect to explore on the days off or after working. mAll in all i loved my time at the hostel and i hope to return there in the future for a visit or to volunteer again, highly recommend:)

I had my first experience Worldpackers at the hostel and It was amazing! I felt like being at home. The place is quiet, perfect for rest. The owner, manager, volunteers and guest were so nice. Thank you very much for everything!!!

I had my first Worldpackers experience at the hostel. Because I was there during off-season the place was kind of quiet and not a lot of people were there. But the house has a great atmosphere and there are a lot of places to go to nearby. The manager made me feel welcomed and it was fun spending time with him! The work also wasn't very challenging and I had enough time to relax.

Even if there's not much to do in Bar during winter, i had a lot of fun and made friends at the hostel. Aldo always tried to make me feel at home. Overall it's true that the hostel isn't anything fancy but the work is easy and I got to see beautiful landscapes and meet really cool people. Thank you for having me! :)

This is probably a fun place in the summer, I'd definitely recommend to volunteer then. I do feel the hostel seems to try to appear as a beach hostel, when the beach is about a 45 minute walk either way. I don't think it would be a good place to surf. It's good for what it is, which is a nice break from constant travel. It has nice fruit trees and the property is nice, though it's a bit rundown. The kitchen is a bit illequipped and so are the showers. You'll have a good time just keep in mind that stuff

Really liked volunteering at the hostel, because the vibe is just so chill and your in the middle of beautiful nature. The facilities and the buildings are not the newest but it feels clean and welcoming but in still really like it because of the whole chill vibe and the amazing people I met here both other volunteers and guests. Very easy work, just some cleaning and checking people in. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill place and like nature and trees cause the hostel has a wonderful garden and a campsite.

Súper lovely host and staff were wonderful but it wasn't the experience I expected as it was advertised to be more of a party hostel. The hostel is quite far from the town so everything is a long walk away and the town's nightlife is nonexistent. The old town is lovely but takes at least an hour to get there if walking. Nevertheless it was a good learning experience in interacting with different interesting people from all around!

This is a wonderful experience if you want to get away from the city! The other volunteers were great & Aldo was super sweet & understanding of any changes that I had! Only thing is there is only one restroom inside the hostel and the others (that are dirty) are about 100m away.

The people at the hostel are lovely, both volunteers and guests. There's always something to do and somewhere to go, and the group is quite like family. The facilities on the other hand weren't great, and I had to leave early for that reason, but I talked to the manager (Aldo) and he was very understanding and helpful. For that reason, and although there were some issues within my time there, Aldo and the team made sure I had a great time.

The other volunteers at the hostel were so nice and welcoming. The guests at this hostel are from really interesting places all over the world and have very fascinating stories so it is a great opportunity to become more educated about other places in the world. The garden at the property is lovely and there are lots of hammocks to lay in and the work hours were short and evenly divided between the whole team. The work itself was easy it was mainly cleaning, checking in guests and answering their questions. Bar is a nice town with lots of day trips to do so it is worth a visit!
