My experience in Monks the hostel was great. Nice environment and a really cozy place. It was social but in a chill way wich I loved. The work and the food more than good. I had plenty of free time. It was off season so less people to interact but I enjoyed my stay there and I would go back

This was my first volunteering experience and I stayed 3 months. It's one of the best things that happened to me. The staff is awesome and very welcoming, I will miss all of them very much. The other volunteers became such good friends, it was really a home far away from home. The working hours are respected and the work is quite easy, it's basic cleaning. Organising events was very fun but you need to be sociable. There's enough food for everyone and I loved that we all had dinner together, it allowed us to bond. The room is a little small but you'll get used to it ;)

This was my first volunteering experience, and it could not have gone better. The hostel is very cozy, but it was the people that made my trip amazing. I met a lot of new people from all around the world, and the volunteers became somewhat of a family. All the receptionists were absolute angels as well. The hostel is located perfectly close to the old town and the working hours were totally respected, as well as the work being very simple. I highly recommend this volunteering experience!

The vibe is very cozy and it felt like a home away from home. The work is simple and the hours are always respected. I highly recommend this experience to anyone!

It was my first volunteering experience, and it was great! If you want to live in an international environment and socialize with lots of people while working only a few hours in exchange, it's the perfect place for you. The only downside is that the room volunteers stay in is a bit small, but the beds have curtains to create privacy, and considering all the other benefits, I would definitely recommend this hostel.

Loved every bit of it!The working hours and the facilities were exactly what was agreed upon and the over all vibe of the place is great.Polina is the sweetest host and explains the work pretty clearly. All the other volunteers were a great company. Edson is the best foosball/table football player (a rematch is due hahah).Gonna miss cooking with neo.Trying to talk to luis and Daisy in spanish was really fun and helped me improve my spanish a lil. Franky is the sweetest guy. Illia is the craziest friend anyone could have, miss our movie nights, trips and the long drinks. See you next year ;)

Volunteering at the hostel exceeded my expectations by far. Since I arrived, all the people there made me feel welcome and safe. One of the things that made this experience so wonderful was the staff. Especially Alba, Günel, Fausta and Roland, who I had a lot of amazing conversations with and even formed friendships, made my stay here amazing. I wanna thank them for everything they did. 💗 The working hours were respected and you are always able to block some days where you maybe already have plans. There's more than enough food for everyone (even vegan and vegetarian). Thanks for all!
