The guest house really feels like a second home! To start with, the staff is super sweet and nice, and always checking in to see how you're doing <3 And the work's pretty fair and well organized, from 10 to 1pm, leaving your afternoons totally free! Plus, you get to pick your days off each month to plan little trips! You will stay in Annex and have a private room with a desk and wall bed, and in the common area you can cook your food or chill and make friends with both guests and volunteers! It has been a wonderful stay and I will 100% recommend this place to everyone! Thank you!

I couldn't have had a better time at nomad hostel. It's normally full of other volunteers being able to make lots of friends, also what I could the best was that the building volunteers stays at, hosts only people that stays for long term, becoming that other way to make stronger connections. Also the staff couldn't be nicer they are all so great. I'll defines recommend this volunteering.

Such a amazing experience I had with everyone here. The work is really easy and start from 10am to 1pm. The staff is super friendly and nice with everyone. They really take care and have a big respect for every volunteer. You gonna meet a lot of amazing persons there. The place is super well located in Sumida close from everything and Asakusa. I really recommand this place if you want to stay confortable during your stay in the guest house and have an amazing experience Thanks the team for everything 🙏🏻

This is without a doubt the best place to stay in the guest house!! The staff is the kindest, always willing to help and make sure you're having a great time♡ I was sick during my stay and they were EXTREMELY helpful. If it weren't for them I don't know how I would've recovered! You can always request your days off and they understand if you need to change last minute. The house is just 10 min walk from 3 different stations and there's a convenience store a minute away so the location is perfect. The work is exactly 3hrs and once a month they make parties where you can cook together. I recommend 100% ❤️

Nomad hostel was the perfect place to start of my travels in Japan, the area is quiet but easily accessible by public transport. The team was so lovely and very welcoming. Even when I had a family emergency and had to return home for a week on a days notice, they were very flexible and willing to work with me to make it easy. The work is easy enough and they make sure you never have to do too much. The room was semi private, the common rooms big and clean and they even had small dinner parties sometimes. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a quieter place to stay

I had a lovely time at the guest house! It's a different experience than stating at a hostel, people stay longer at a sharehouse so it's possible to create longer friendships. I met really amazing people staying there. The work was easy and straightforward, 10am-1pm on the dot. Events were organised for the volunteers like Udon or pizza making which were always really fun and yummy. The location is also great, next to Asakusa and the Ginza line. Thank you to everyone at the guest house for making my stay so comfortable! Hope to see you all again soon!

I am still here currently because I extended my stay as it's so good! Nomad is a perfect place to stay if you want to meet and make friends from all over the world, as well as have a really convenient location to explore lots of the guest house. There are food parties every month, a big common area downstairs for socialising and working, and the accommodation is safe and you get a capsule bed with workspace. Work is easy, you get taught for 5 days how to clean toilets, showers, different floors, change beds + other areas, only for 3 hours. Overall an amazing experience and I would definitely come back!

The guest house was overall a good experience. Pros: -Individual sleep capsule and mini-room was great for having personal space to relax -Working hours and tasks were clear and well-communicated -Staff worked hard to make it a friendly environment for socialising Cons: -Cleanliness of the communal space, particularly dishes and fridges, could definitely be improved: it felt like living in a student sharehouse -Despite the name suggesting being good for remote work, the communal area was often very loud, with a large TV playing at all times, which made it hard to relax or work

This was my first-ever hostel stay and I couldn't have asked for a better one! At first, I was a little worried about being in a mixed dorm, but it was totally fine! Each space is semi-private, with an accordion-style door. I would have preferred to have a way to lock the door from the inside, but I still felt very safe! The managers/cleaners/other guests were all great, & I made some awesome friends! 🥺 Tasks take three hours usually, sometimes less depending on which building you're assigned that day. If you can't finish in time, the managers take care of it. I hope to return eventually!
