IT was the greatest first experience for a Worldpacking adverture. Effie is great, so is Elle and Soda, whi help you knowing the daily tasks. The working hours are respected and you get the day off to explore Bangkok. The hostel is located in a estrategic place downtown. 20 minutos walking from Chinatown, Khao San Road, The Great Palace and othe places you'll want to visit. I highly recomend it.

It was a great experience to host Danie. She was a lovely lady and everyone loves her. She has been helping me at the bar and she could complete all the tasks very well. She was eager to learn and tried hard to help us. We always have a compliments from the customers. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for a great host in bangkok , with awesome collaboration , flexible staff , and a good location ( old city ) near to most of temples , I highly recommend to you the the hostel ! bangkok can't be fun without effie's smiles and her cute child " ALLAN ♥"

The experience I have had at the hostel has been absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is so friendly, relaxed and admirable. The people that run the hostel are so warm and kind. The hours are perfect for anyone wishing to still have time to travel and the location is great as there are so many temples and things to see and do around. If you are looking for a quiet, fun and chill place to volunteer. 110% recommend this wonderful place.

Bri came to our hostel as a volunteer and left as my sister. She was so helpful and enthusiastic about learning. She was a sweet and caring person. Everyone loves her, especially my 4 years old son! She was so good with kids. She worked as it was her own business. She helped me develop a website for a new bar business as well as social media. She is always welcome here! Highly recommended!

I did not feel like being a volunteer at the hostel but an employee. Effie is always busy running from one side to the other and can hardly ever give us attention to exchange experiences. The hostel has some management issues that bothered a bit, for example; control of money is inefficient. Overall the expence was good. The hostel is very tidy and clean, well located. The work described on the site was followed. The work itself was quite simple, but the accuracy of several procedures that were not taught. It was not a previous training, just started work.

So lucky to have chosen the hostel as my first hostel. I had so much fun learning new things. Staff was indeed like family and my stay couldn't have been made better by the warmth and the cleanliness of the place. A lot of changes were made to the schedule but they were still able to accommodate me and my travel plans. Effie, the owner, was very considerate and kind. :)

Mela was a very sweet and considerate person. She was professional and very well presented. I wish I could have her as a full time receptionist. She completed all the given tasks and dealt with the customers very well. She could get along with everyone here and we'd love to have her with us again. Highly recommended!

Me quedé ahí 10 semanas. Effie es una excelente persona, muy atenta, trabajadora y amigable. Le agradezco mucho haberme hospedado y todas las atenciones que me dió 💖 Conocí a voluntarios de muchos países diferentes y nos hicimos muy buenos amigos. La ubicación está genial para visitar muchos lugares turísticos pero sin un costo de vida elevado. Muchas gracias por todo Effie, muchos éxitos 😘

Motu Bangkok fue como mi segunda casa! El trabajo es tal cual se describe. Yo hice parte del bar en Motu, donde la mayoría de los clientes son los mismos amigos de Effie; lo cual da una vibra familiar y local. Effie me compartía snacks de vez en cuando para ir probando los distintos platos de la cultura Tai. Esta fue mi primera experiencia con WorldPackers y la recomiendo 100%. Muchas gracias por todo Effie! Me encantó conocerte a ti y a tu familia. Espero volver el próximo año.

Recomiendo totalmente realizar el voluntariado de recepcionista en el hostel. El lugar es super tranquilo, las tareas son fáciles, mi turno fue de 7 am a 11 am por lo que abría la recepción y realizaba los check out del día. En mi caso tenía todo el día libre para recorrer la ciudad, conocer los lugares que tenía pre vistos, está ubicado en un excelente lugar, tiene bicicletas disponibles para que puedas usar, paradas de buses y el metro cercano. El staff y voluntarios de mi estadía fue siempre muy amigable y agradable.

La experiencia fue encantadora. Effie la host me hizo sentir muy cómodo, como en casa. Las tareas no fueron difíciles, disfruté mucho hacerlo. La familia de Effie es encantadora, muy amables, mucho amor. Conocí gente muy buena durante mi estadía, y el ambiente laboral muy bueno
