I stayed two weeks at the hostel and I wished I could have stayed longer ! The hostel is very cozy with lots of lights, and the common area invites people to talk to each other so it's easy to get to know people around the hostel. It's mainly with other foreigners and solo travelers. The staff is super nice (Thank you Tim!) and the tasks are simple cleaning and bedding. You are in a very dynamic neighborhood with many things to do around, and it's easy to access other areas as well as take the train to other parts of Taiwan on your days off. I recommend the hostel!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel in Gongguan, all the staff members are super friendly and made me feel welcomed. The hostel has such a home-y environment and I would highly recommend volunteering here especially at Gongguan. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience :)

Loved my stay at the hostel. I was in the hostel ntu, which was near the university area, so lots to do and cheaper than the center; the center was only a few stops on the metro, but I usually preferred this area, Gongguan. The staff were so nice and helpful, they worked with you and the work was simple and usually quick. I would recommend. I loved Taipei!

I had such a great time in the hostel! Initially planned to stay for only 2 weeks but ended up extending for a month in total. The staff and the volunteers are all so welcoming and friendly. I will miss them all. Definitely a home away from home.

After 4 weeks, the hostel began to feel like home! I had a great first Worldpackers experience here. The staff are incredibly kind, and brought us free food and drinks almost every day. The hostel is well located and connected to the rest of Taipei. I was also given consecutive days off to take small trips around Taiwan! The work was easy and on weekdays we usually finished way earlier. I was also able to meet so many different guests and other volunteers! I loved my time here, highly reccomend.

Thank you so much for such an amazing experience at the hostel. I was so sad to go at the end of my two weeks and wished I had stayed longer. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming, frequently giving me tips for things to see and do in the city during my stay. The work was not difficult and it felt great leaving the hostel each day all cleaned up and ready for the next influx of guests. The highlights for me were the other volunteers, the super friendly hosts, and getting to meet so many cool people from around the world as they came to stay at the hostel. 謝謝！

I really loved my experience at May Rooms Taipei. The hostel is a really cozy and cute place were I felt immediately at home and more than comfortable to stay at for two weeks :) the work is also very manageable and one has plenty of time to explore the city. The staff is also super sweet and helpful with everything- I will miss it

The hostel is a small and cozy hostel near the hostel. Everything is super clean and the beds are very comfortable. Around the area are a lot of very delicious restaurants and a night market. This place is NOT a party hostel and you will probably only be with one to two other volunteers. So everything is pretty quiet and chill. You only work in the morning until maybe 1pm so you have the whole day to yourself and to explore Taipei. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay :)

I enjoyed my stay with welcoming and helpful staff. The work is easy and you'll still have the whole day for yourself afterwards. the hostel is a really cozy place and right next to the hostel, so it's easy to go everywhere from here. You'll meet travellers every other day but it's mostly a relaxed and chill atmosphere in the hostel, so keep that in mind. There are still a lot of things to do near by and as a group if you are looking for social things to do. I had a great time and would like to come back in the future
