While staying here I was able to reconnect with nature and got to spend a lot of time with the animals. I learned a lot about sustainable living and living off the land. The area was absolutely beautiful and there was a lot of explore.

I had a wonderful time at the home. The host Namua is the sweetest person and made me feel welcome and took good care of me. I learned a lot about sustainability and she cooked delicious vegan meals for us every single day. The tasks were enjoyable and we spent lots of time with her animals. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to learn more about the vegan life style and who wants to reconnect with nature. Thank you Namua for the wonderful time!

My time at Namuas will be a time I won't forget. Going through a month with vegan food alone changed my view on things and care that goes into cooking and feeding us volunteer's was almost always put forth with great care. Our body's were fed well, we worked hard too, and also replenished our souls with the river not far. If you are looking to be in nature, do some hiking near by or be immersed in a world that is connected together and not enjoyed separately. This is the place. You'll find yourself bonding with the animals and enjoying the outdoor by the pond!

The area and property are absolutely beautiful and you are able to go on a hike or to the beach. I met amazing volunteers and we made the best experiences together! Sadly the host did not seem to be interested in me or the others. I was not thought nor was I explained how to do the tasks. I had to learn by doing it which is why I had to redo things often. In addition tools are often broken or not good for the job so the work becomes less efficient. The tasks expected to finish are too many so some (especially cleaning) are done VERY superficial. If you have any more questions feel free to as

Sorry you felt like that Jette. To be fair she arrived at a very busy time with a lot of initial changes.
The Spring planting has now been done and things have calmed down a bit and we are catching up on other jobs and have time to settle down relax a bit more.

I had a really good time, the host was kind, the work was not to much and doable and the nature and surroundings were absolutely beautiful+The food.. Namua is the best cook. The food she provides everyday is super fresh vegan and absolutely delicious. I feel like some things need to be said tho. The work is everyday work like feeding 3 times a day, for example. You might not be able to go out for long in your free time in between. +The busses out of the village leave only once every couple of hours and the ride to bigger cities is quiet long. + the last bus into the village is at 7pm.

I had an incredible time staying with Namua. The peaceful atmosphere in the mountains was perfect for anyone looking to disconnect and recharge. One of the highlights of my stay was the vegan lifestyle. Namua really lives what she advocates, and I really appreciated her delicious meals. I also loved how Namua cared for the animals and it was heartwarming to see how she creates a safe, loving environment for them. I enjoyed helping out with the animal care, and it gave me a deeper appreciation for her sustainable and ethical way of living. The work was fulfilling but never overwhelming.

I really enjoyed this place! She is a very sweet woman who is both smart and caring, and fun to talk to. It was great getting to know her, and her food is really good. The hours are respected, but you need to keep an eye on them yourself (there will always be work). Namua has her own way of doing things, and she expects you to follow her methods. She will correct you if something isn't done the way she prefers, so you need to be able to handle criticism. Her house is surrounded by beautiful nature, but it's still easy to take day trips to other towns by bus. I would definitely recommend!

My time at the home was outstanding. I met many different people and could experience the impact of different group dynamics and how to work together as a community. I learned a lot about how to include more sustainable mechanisms into your everyday life, about veganism and the concept of permaculture. The food was incredible and the daily tasks in the house and with the animals / plants are fulfilling. I would recommend this to anyone! My advice is to bring long trousers against moscitos and some anti histamin pills if you're allergic. Also biodegradable products.

Where do I begin! I felt very much welcomed at the home from the beginning. I got a tour of her property and settled in right away. I respect the way Namua lives and just her as a person so much. The daily tasks are easy going and meditative. From my experience I got to work with wonderful humans and learned a lot with them as we went along. What is amazing to me is that everything on her property works for a reason. It gave me a whole new insight on sustainability! I couldn't have asked for anything else on my journey here. Thank you Namua!

Namua cares deeply for the animals she looks after and works hard to create a safe space for them. She also prepared diverse vegan meals, opening my mind to the different tastes of plant-based cooking. However, there were some challenges. The tools and materials weren't always ideal, making tasks harder. Communication was difficult at times, as her sarcastic replies made me hesitate to ask questions. Additionally, her comments about past volunteers sometimes left me wondering how I might be spoken about after I left. Still, I'm grateful for the experience and what I learned. Thank you, Namua
