I've just spent the past three months living in the south of France with adorable animals and the best host I could ask for ! Namua is the most caring and understanding person I have ever met. I've seen many people come and go during my stay, and she welcomes each one with the same open arms ! If you're looking for an eye opening experience to rediscover what life is really about or just slow down, the home is the perfect place for reflection and giving back rather than taking from our planet. Hope to see you soon Namua (and everyone else at AQFG) !

I had an amazing time while staying here. The work was not too hard and it were al kinds of different things. I enjoyed taking care of the animals and hugging with them. Meeting other volunteers was also a very big plus for me. Namua is a caring and very passionate sweet woman who made me feel very welcome. She provided amazing meals and learned me a lot more about dofferent insights on life. I would definitely recommend staying and working on this farm! :)

A beautiful, peaceful place. Experience a different way of nourishing yourself, explore a more environmentally friendly vision with Namua's wisdom. Being attentive is key for convenience, as Namua already has a structured routine. Remembering it will make the stay more pleasant for both of you. Take the opportunity to explore the surroundings: hiking trails, local events, and nearby beaches. Spend time with the dogs and the house guardians, and take care of the farm animals (especially Popeye). Disconnect and enjoy the experience. Namua, a wise and sensitive woman connected with nature.

While staying here I was able to reconnect with nature and got to spend a lot of time with the animals. I learned a lot about sustainable living and living off the land. The area was absolutely beautiful and there was a lot of explore.

I had a wonderful time at the home. The host Namua is the sweetest person and made me feel welcome and took good care of me. I learned a lot about sustainability and she cooked delicious vegan meals for us every single day. The tasks were enjoyable and we spent lots of time with her animals. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to learn more about the vegan life style and who wants to reconnect with nature. Thank you Namua for the wonderful time!

Very funny partners. Problems with the cleaning of spaces and health of the food.

Jose had no understanding of the terms vegan or organic. For someone who thought 'normal ' food comes in packets from a supermarket and toxic chemicals are essential for cleaning, it was a challenging experience.
Just a word of praise for the other volunteers at the time, far from being "funny' they showed a lot of tolerance towards someone who was really unable to understand what was required or to function without a lot of help.
By mutual agreement Jose left after a few days.

My time at Namuas will be a time I won't forget. Going through a month with vegan food alone changed my view on things and care that goes into cooking and feeding us volunteer's was almost always put forth with great care. Our body's were fed well, we worked hard too, and also replenished our souls with the river not far. If you are looking to be in nature, do some hiking near by or be immersed in a world that is connected together and not enjoyed separately. This is the place. You'll find yourself bonding with the animals and enjoying the outdoor by the pond!

The area and property are absolutely beautiful and you are able to go on a hike or to the beach. I met amazing volunteers and we made the best experiences together! Sadly the host did not seem to be interested in me or the others. I was not thought nor was I explained how to do the tasks. I had to learn by doing it which is why I had to redo things often. In addition tools are often broken or not good for the job so the work becomes less efficient. The tasks expected to finish are too many so some (especially cleaning) are done VERY superficial. If you have any more questions feel free to as

Sorry you felt like that Jette. To be fair she arrived at a very busy time with a lot of initial changes.
The Spring planting has now been done and things have calmed down a bit and we are catching up on other jobs and have time to settle down relax a bit more.

I think my review of Cecilia answers this. She basically had no idea of community living . She tried, but after so many years of living with volunteers I do know what 5 hours work can achieve and a day of faffing about is not the same as a few hours honest work!
This is not a place for free board and lodging, but a very welcoming community if you truly want to embrace our ethics, learn, share and grow. 😁

I had a really good time, the host was kind, the work was not to much and doable and the nature and surroundings were absolutely beautiful+The food.. Namua is the best cook. The food she provides everyday is super fresh vegan and absolutely delicious. I feel like some things need to be said tho. The work is everyday work like feeding 3 times a day, for example. You might not be able to go out for long in your free time in between. +The busses out of the village leave only once every couple of hours and the ride to bigger cities is quiet long. + the last bus into the village is at 7pm.
