Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience. I think the hostel is a very special hostel in the way that it feels like a home, thanks to the kind and welcoming staff. The work was very simple and we had a lot of flexibility in creating our own schedules and creating events that we were excited to do. It was also great having 2-3 other volunteers as we really felt like a family. Volunteering was a great way to meet other travellers and get a sense of what it's like to live in Dresden, which is an incredible city!! I truly did not want my experience to end and I can't wait to visit again!

My experience at the hostel was truly amazing. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel like part of the family from the start. The tasks were simple, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. I appreciated the freedom they gave me to complete the work in the way that suited me best. I had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people and sharing this experience with all of you. The volunteers made this journey even more special, and I'm deeply grateful for everything. My experience in this hostel has been the best I have had by far, I can only say good things. From the first day I arrived it was incredible, Julianne welcomed me with a big smile and open arms, I took her in my heart. We are a few volunteers (3/4) and that means we spend a lot of time together, the guys were simply my family <3 The work is super easy and even fun if we help each other. The receptionists were always friendly and helpful to us. I sincerely hope to be able to return at some point and I can only thank you enormously for giving me this opportunity.

Geniunely the most incredible Worldpackers experience - would highly recommend to anyone considering! The team at the hostel and other volunteers were all so kind and welcoming and by the end of my 3 week stay it truly felt like a home. As others have mentioned the work schedule is super flexible which does mean you have to be organised among yourselves but is great as you end up working fewer hours overall I think and have time for daytrips etc. I had the best time at the hostel and Dresden is a wonderful city so I can't wait to return!

Volunteering at the hostel is an amazing experience. The hostel is something different than what you've experienced till now. Juliane is amazing and she'll make you feel what Dresden really is thanks to her love for her city. All the staff is welcoming and friendly and will make you feel like home. The tasks are very easy, you need to be able to cook, organize activities and be welcoming with guests. Communication was always perfect. The hostel has the best location, right in the middle of the Neustadt, which is beautiful and lively. Thank you the hostel!!

Volunteering at the hostel has been an incredible experience! I had so much fun, and the job was enjoyable and flexible, and enabled me to meet so many different people. the hostel team- as well as the other volunteers- made me feel very welcome, and the city of Dresden is simply wonderful, offering a new adventure every day. Thank you so much to everyone at the hostel for making me feel so at home and comfortable. The work was a lot of fun and since you plan it together with the other volunters it can be customized to your interests. While I was there we did events ranging from cosy game nights, to hiking in the national park and dancing at music festivals. The atmosphere is so welcoming and it makes it very easy to get to know other travellers. I had a wonderful time in Dresden and definetly plan on visiting the hostel again. All my love to everyone I met there and I hope to see you again in the future!

The entire the hostel team welcomed me with open arms and made me feel a part of the “family”. The environment created at this hostel is more akin to a home with guests than a hostel, and the city of Dresden is an extremely underrated city. All the other volunteers and guests helped to create a very memorable and fun month. I would absolutely do it again!

A friendly team. There is a hostel staff that explains everything to you when you arrive. The tasks assigned to you are not heavy at all, on the contrary, they are fun. The hostel is very clean and organized. There is an order in the hostel because everyone does their job well. There is always a team available to help you whenever you have a question. Everyone is very open to communication.
