Absolutely wonderful hosts. Immediately felt welcomed and we got along really well. The whole family was so kind and had a great sense of humour. My hours were respected fully and they made sure I felt comfortable at all times. The children were amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching them the home fun way and spending time with them. The family made it possible for me to completely immerse myself in the Spanish culture which I loved very much! I also met many of their friends and family who were equally as welcoming and just as lovely. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Nino was super responsive and helpful during the process of finding a family! He set me up with a lovely family who I had a great time with! I highly recommend the home this program if you want to immerse yourself in another culture and also practice some Spanish!

This was such an amazing experience! Nino found me a family that was incredible to live with. The family treated me like their own and made sure I was comfortable and included in everyday activities. Outside of teaching English, I had plenty of time to explore the area, practice my Spanish, and get to know and even become friends with the locals. I highly recommend this experience.

This experience was absolutely amazing! My time in Spain has to be the highlight of my year so far and I honestly got so much more out of it than I ever expected! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to travel while also gaining a deeper understanding for Spanish culture and are looking for the opportunity for a real immersion!

This is an awesome experience for someone who likes teaching kids/learning about different cultures/having a Spanish host family. As I was able to speak English with the kids and Spanish with the parents, I improved a ton in Spanish. Nino was helpful if I ever had any questions, checking in on me through my stay. I would say this is best for someone who has something else planned for the day, ex. Spanish class or an online job, as my family only really needed help in the evenings. I also recommend considering location, if you care abt being social the home city vs don't mind being alone a lot.

An incredible and life-changing experience! This experience provided me with everything I could have wanted and more. My hours were always respected, so I had the freedom to take the weekends to travel all over Spain. The Metro and trains are fantastic, which makes it very easy and cheap to get around. You do have to prepare your own lesson plans, but the kids that I taught were very receptive to anything and the family was sincere and inviting. I learned so much about Spanish language, culture, and cuisine as well as how to the home kids. This is an opportunity that should not be passed up!

This experience was the first time I ever left the United States to travel solo, and it was without a doubt the best thing I could have done. I stayed for a little less than two months but I could have easily stayed longer. Nino connected me with a family who was so welcoming, respectful, and open to allowing me to both the home their kids and take in the beauty of Spain during my stay. It may seem too good to be true, but trust me when I say that this is an opportunity you cannot pass up, and as long as you are good with kids and have an open mind this experience will be a joy to have.

10 out of 10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This homestay experience was absolutely amazing. From the beginning, Nino, the homestay coordinator was very kind and organized. He was up front and communicated effectively. I couldn't have been placed with a better family. They were sooo much fun and the meals were amazing. Not only did the family learn a ton of English, I also learned a lot of Spanish and about how genuine human beings can be.
