Teach English doing a Homestay in Spain

Via our Homestay Program with host families anywhere in Spain, we can try to find you a wonderful place to live for a few months (minimum 1 month). IMPORTANT! you MUST be a NATIVE ENGLISH Speaker of the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand or AT LEAST have a very HIGH LEVEL of the English language. Host families in Spain can host you in exchange for 2h of English tutoring to the children in the house, 4 times a week, Mo, Tue, Wed and Thursday. In exchange for that you will have your own room and free meals (the free meals are only included if you have them at home, meals at restaurants are NOT included). The families are carefully selected by me and are often my friends, friends of my friends, my relatives or relatives of my relatives. You will be in total safety as well.
If you are interested the first thing you need to do is send me a video via WhatsApp introducing yourself in English (40 seconds approximately).
There is a Finders Fee, only payable AFTER you meet your host family via WhatsApp videocall and once both parties have agreed the period of the homestay which should be at least 4-5 weeks, and can run up to 9 months. The fee is 350 euros for a Homestay of a maximum of three months. The length depends on you and on the family. You will be hosted for free and free meals after all.
Contact me via Worldpackers :-)

THIS IS FOR NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS ONLY OR AT LEAST PEOPLE WITH A VERY HIGH LEVEL OF ENGLISH. Volunteers will be treated just like another member of the family. Freedom to travel. No house chores. This is NOT an Au Pair Job. The family wants you to be their window to the English Speaking world!

I had a great time in Ourense with my host family. I loved getting familiar with Spanish culture and meeting new people. Overall I had a great experience and definitely want to go back.

I’m from Brazil, so apart from the cultural shock it was a really nice experience. The place was beautiful and from where I was it was really easy to go to Portugal, so I could meet a lot of people and see many, many places.

Even though Paulo was helpful with the local host family, his personal circumstances did not allow for this Homestay to be as long as expected. Paulo had to leave earlier

The process of applying was quick and easy and I was promptly matched with a wonderful family in Madrid who made me feel so welcome during the entirety of my stay. It was amazing to be fully immersed in Spanish culture and to share my own knowledge and culture with the family in exchange.

This was an incredible experience, my host family was wonderful and super flexible and included me in all their daily activities and events, and I had lots of free time to explore and travel to other places :) overall I really recommend the experience and I loved it! I do also recommend thinking about and researching the location though if you plan on travelling a lot, as the place I was in was a bit difficult to get to and from

I had an amazing time in my homestay! Connecting with my family through Nino was quick and easy, and I had all of the information that I needed to plan my travels. My family was welcoming and the kids were awesome. I have had the best time in Madrid, and I recommend this experience to anyone who loves kids and wants to immerse in Spanish culture.
