Volunteering at the hostel was a very special experience for me - the people I met, sunsets, surf sessions, and even the more relaxed moments at the hostel will always have a place in my heart. Thank you Blanka and John, you guys were the best <3 Nádia and Luis are truly wonderful people - kind, caring, and with seemingly inexhaustible patience. I will miss them both. Communication on the work was always clear and the working times were respected. The surrounding beaches are beautiful (esp Praia dos Frades!) Lots of love, obrigada por tudo :) Mitti

Right - twas a wonderful experience. Surfing is great, volunteers were very social and the hosts were incredible, especially nadia who helped me practice my Spanish. Surfing can be a challenge as it is a 40 min ish bike ride but there's so much to do around. Cannot reccomend this enough. Hope to see you all soon. Much ta, John

While the hostel was just outside of the bigger town, I still had such a good time just hanging out with the other volunteers/guests, going on adventures and enjoying the beach. Build some extra budget for Uber/Bolt, but the volunteer bikes were also fine to cycle into town. Nadia and Luis were awesome and really made me feel welcome. The work is as written, but easy enough and you still do have most of your day. Honestly, for a first time world packer, I don't know how it could've gone better :) Also, the sunsets are amazing!!!

This was an amazing month spend in a very quiet (in may) place. The beach is right infornt of the hostel. The work depends on the amount of guests but very easy & quick. It is not very sociable town so keep that in mind. To surf for beginners you have to bike or uber (or hitchhike - very easy) to another beach in peniche or baleal.

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Nadia is the best host you could wish for and I made a lot of amazing memories with the other volunteers. The hostel is right next to the beach which is ideal for watching the sunset and beach days. The work is easy and the hours depend on how many guests there are, but it was usually done in around 2 hours. It's also a good place to learn how to surf. I would absolutely recommend this experience and can't wait to be back! Thank you to the people who made this time unforgettable:)

Volunteering at the hostel is amazing if you want to improve your surf skills , if you like calm , nature and relax time it's the place to be. The working hours are respected and honestly it's a very easy work , you just have to clean houses which is super easy and don't take more than 3 hours a day. The host are very kind , Nadia is the sweetest person ever, she will be here for you anytime and for anything ! Because the hostel is a quiet town , just be prepared that uber is going to be your best friend. So mind the expense to go visit around.

I had such a great time and fun experience at the hostel! I felt immediately welcomed, arriving there, and it was a great team! The working hours were respected and if you worked together well it was easy and done in 2-3 hours. It was close to the beach and i was even able to take some surflessons. :) I would definitely recommend this experience

Concolacau is a small, quiet village that is more suitable for people who wants to relax. The hostel is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, which makes for lovely walks. Swimming and surfing can be a bit hard in april due to the strong currents. If you want to swim or surf you have to go to Baleal or Peniche. You can go there by car or uber. The work that has to be done takes about two or three hours and is easy. Nadia is very friendly. Overall, the hostel is more suitable for people who are looking for peace and quiet.

My stay at the Supertubus the hostel was amazing. The work is usually done in less than 2 hours and is very easy. Nadia is such a kind person who cared about us all doing well. I met so many inspiring people during my stay and got really close to the other volunteers <3. I learnt how to surf and we discovered many beautiful places and beaches. Thank you so much for the unforgettable time! Can't wait so come back :)

I truly had a wonderful stay at the hostel! I got to meet so many amazing and inspiring people, and made lots of fun memories, especially with the other volunteers :) Nadia is really sweet and the work is easy to do. We still had plenty of time to enjoy the nature, surf, go out and relax. Thank you for this wonderful time!
