The experience

We are constantly expanding & improving our hostels, bars, & beach hotel on Koh Phangan so we're always looking for skilled help! Got skills with electrical? Plumbing? Construction? Painting? Design? We probably have some projects we could use your help on.

Don't worry though, you can still help with our famously social and friendly party vibe at Full Moon Party, even if you're on a special project!

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Thai

Between 18 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We have become the biggest party property at the world-famous Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan, Thailand. It's a lot of fun and a lot of work, but in a party place things are constantly breaking or getting run down. We are always repairing, and proving, painting, and redecorating all of our property. If you've got skills in any sort of building or improvements, we want to hear from you!

Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, artists, painters, designers, Engineers, even gardeners or landscape artists exclamation point we have pools, beachfronts, garden areas, and tons of buildings that always need maintenance, improvements, and newer decorations and ideas.

Let us know what you bring to the table and I bet we can find a place for you!

We are interested in everything each volunteer can bring to the table. This listing is looking for builders, but if you'll be here during Full Moon Party, you'll also help with other tasks:

​A FEW GENERAL DUTIES WE ARE USUALLY LOOKING FOR:

- Runner: bring guests from reception to rooms making sure to get them involved.
- Reception: checking guests into our properties in a friendly, competent way.
- Party host: run games and tournaments, hype drink specials, ​get people ​interacting.
- Social media: ​Always take pics ​& video ​and ​tag us.
- Bar runner: helping keep the bar stocked ​& friendly, stopping people bringing outside glass in.
- Promoting: flyering on the beach and around town, posting to groups and chat groups, etc.

Rules

OK, THE HARSH RULES:
1) If you can't commit to dates 100%, don't apply. We're flexible, but if you say you'll be here 1-31JAN, we'll expect you here.

2) If you need to leave early, we require 5 days notice.

3) You are REQUIRED to be active in our group chat - it's how we communicate. Please, this is very important for us, so if you want to be a team member, please remember to check your messages.

4) It's 100% forbidden to feed, house, pet or encourage stray animals. It's severely damaging to the animals & to our business. Anyone caught doing this will be asked to leave immediately.

5) Full Moon Party is REALLLLY fun, but a LOT of work. We guarantee you will get to enjoy Jungle Party & Full Moon Party, but you will also be REQUIRED to work long hours for those 3 or 4 days. The rest of the time we try hard to keep hours much shorter hours than listed.
