It has been an amazing experience, from the first day to the last… The founder of the organisation, Emmanuel, his family and everybody involved in the organisation and the school, are truly wonderful. A big thanks to Emmanuel, the great and tireless wife Happy, Jackson, Sairam and all the school teachers and helpers… they dedicate their life in an amazing project and it's only the beginning, much good can still follow. everything seemed to flow extremely naturally, because the unbelievable human emotional bond that is present at any time, everywhere, makes everything so very easy…

Absolutely incredible time with Emmanuel and his lovely family. Very sad to leave! Emmanuel takes very good care of you, never any concerns or worries that he can't help with! His family are so welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit! The children in the schools are all amazing too and keen to learn!

I had an amazing experience staying with Emmanuel and his family! I felt so welcome and they made me feel at home throughout my entire stay. I enjoyed the meals they prepared and the time spent in the school was absolutely amazing! The children are so cute and teach you so much! I got to meet many other volunteers from around the world during my stay which was also very cool. Would definitely recommend this experience!

For sure one of the best experiences of my life, and wouldn't be the same without the caring of everyone, mainly the host and his family. Is more than worth it for sure, wish I could stay more.

The kids are amazing and deserve all the support and attention they can get. If you love playing with kids and supporting them, you will have a wonderful time. The reason I only gave 3 out of 5 stars is because of the management behind the organization. Here not only I, but others of the 17 (!) volunteers have strong doubts about the charitable motivation. The constant increase of daily fees and the invitation of more and more volunteers suggests economic motives. Nevertheless, I would like to motivate to participate in the program - for the children!

Tanzania Education and Health replied

Thank you Alex for your feedback and we real appreciate your opinions and point of view about our Organization..

We believe that to work with international volunteers will make a great impact to the education and live of our children since all of our children are coming from poor families, they need love and motivation for them to create dreams of their better future.

Invitation of many volunteers during this summer of 2023 was also based to motivate more children in different schools which we are working with them apart from our Main school which run under our Organization.. As you did in Simplex school was absolutely amazing to the kids and they still have all the great memories you shared together with them..

The daily fees are splitted for providing you with good accommodation and meals as well as a source of fund to run our project for all the year since we don't sustainable fund to run our school programs.

We real appreciate for your contribution fees which still make the project to continue, without your support then we couldn't able to provide services to the children

Thank you so much and we wish you all the best in your future

Overall, this was an amazing trip. The children are absolutely incredible and are so inspiring to be with. My main issue was during my 3 week stay, 2 weeks of this, the children were on holidays in all schools but one. I wasn't overly impacted by this as the school I was located in was open, however, there was now 14/16 volunteers all in one school. So, most of the time there was very little to do as there was too many people. I would have been happy to schedule my trip in different weeks had I known that these holidays were on. There was also 3 days where there was no school at all.

I had a great time with emma and his family! they were great hosts and emma an even better teacher with always an open ear to listen. I experienced the most authentic version of the tansanian daily life and had so much fun with the very energetic, very kind kids. I learned a lot about Africa and their traditions and would recommend it to anybody who wants to have a local experience!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at Samaritan the organization Centre. Emmanuel and his family were perfect hosts, very welcoming and through my weeks I really felt as though I was a part of the family. I worked on social media and also taught each day in the school. With the school being so close to the house, it was very convenient getting between them. I enjoyed meeting other teachers and lots of locals within the community - giving me a real 'local' Tanzanian experience. Emmanuel helped organise many activities during days off too. 10/10 experience 🌟🌟🌟

You really should visit Samaritan volunteers to feel what I am about to write. (Writing it just doesn't do it justice). The Host, was very hospitable. It truly felt like home away from home!. He is a kind young man doing his best to give back to his community. I honestly look forward to going back and spending a longer time. The school, the kids are lovely! The school really could use alot of volunteers! And donations!. But Emma is really doing a great job. The community is safe. They are welcoming. They seem to be appreciative of what Emma is doing.

It was an incredible experience! 1)Emma was a perfect host. He does everything, EVERYTHING, to make the volunteers feel happy and welcomed. 2) The project is amazing and very organized. Children are wonderful and committed. It was a pleasure to work at the school and I learned a lot there. 3) The interaction with other volunteers was very pleasant. 4) In this job I had a very deep cultural immersion and I experienced something I had never experienced before.
