Program Details

Conserve Life Foundation (CLF) welcomes committed Worldpackers to support our Plastic Waste Cleanup and Environmental Awareness program at Nyumba ya Mungu. We expect volunteers to actively participate in beach cleanups, collecting plastic and other waste, and to engage positively with local communities and schools during environmental education and awareness activities. Volunteers should be physically ready for outdoor work, respectful of local culture, reliable, and willing to work as part of a team.

In return, volunteers can expect a meaningful grassroots experience, clear guidance and supervision, and opportunities for cultural exchange. CLF provides coordination, basic tools for activities, and a safe, supportive working environment. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in environmental conservation, community engagement, and environmental education while contributing to the protection of an important freshwater ecosystem.
