Programa detallado
Conserve Life Foundation (CLF) welcomes committed Worldpackers to support our Plastic Waste Cleanup and Environmental Awareness program at Nyumba ya Mungu. We expect volunteers to actively participate in beach cleanups, collecting plastic and other waste, and to engage positively with local communities and schools during environmental education and awareness activities. Volunteers should be physically ready for outdoor work, respectful of local culture, reliable, and willing to work as part of a team.
In return, volunteers can expect a meaningful grassroots experience, clear guidance and supervision, and opportunities for cultural exchange. CLF provides coordination, basic tools for activities, and a safe, supportive working environment. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in environmental conservation, community engagement, and environmental education while contributing to the protection of an important freshwater ecosystem.
Actividades & Turnos
Volunteers will work approximately 4–5 hours per day, mainly in the morning when temperatures are cooler. Activities may vary depending on weather, community schedules, and environmental needs.

Collecting plastic and other non-biodegradable waste along Nyumba ya Mungu beaches
Sorting and safely storing collected waste for proper disposal or recycling
Participating in community clean-up events with local youth, fishermen, and residents
Supporting environmental awareness sessions in schools and villages, including simple talks, demonstrations, and discussions on plastic pollution and ecosystem protection
Assisting with preparation of education materials and awareness campaigns
Helping document activities through photos, videos, and short reports (optional, based on skills)
CLF staff will provide daily guidance, task planning, and supervision. Rest days are arranged according to the volunteering schedule and mutual agreement.
