The experience

La Campeggia is a social camping in the hills of Northern Italy, run by a small community. Volunteers help with daily life: welcoming guests, caring for spaces, small maintenance, gardening and creative projects. You’ll live close to nature, share meals and moments, and become part of a place that connects people, land and culture.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

1 day off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 80 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

La Campeggia is a small social camping in the hills of Northern Italy, run by a community and rooted in ideas of care, sharing and simple living.
Volunteers are part of our everyday life: we work together in the morning and often share meals, swims, sunsets and events.
This is not a resort or a hostel – it’s a living place where people, land and culture meet. We look for curious, respectful and hands-on people who enjoy being useful and living close to nature.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers help with the daily care of the camping:
– cleaning bathrooms, showers and common areas
– keeping reception and shared spaces welcoming
– watering and caring for the garden
– helping with the pool maintenance (and enjoying it!)
During events and community dinners, volunteers support guest welcoming, food preparation and sometimes the bar.
Help is usually organized in morning shifts of a few hours, leaving free time every day.

We are a small community, so respect and collaboration are essential.
– Be reliable and show up for agreed shifts
– Treat guests, other volunteers and the place with care
– Keep shared spaces clean and usable for everyone
– Be open to simple living and rural rhythms
We don’t expect perfection – just presence, honesty and a willingness to be part of something collective.
