My days at the hostel were and still are amazing. Mainly the staff and everyone who works there made me feel like I was at home. Working hours are always respected and free days too, which is very good because you have time to see everything, in addition to the hostel's great location.

I had an amazing time at the hostel! the hostel is an great place to start volunteering, just like I did :). Everybody is so lovely and makes you feel welcomed. The work is pretty easy and you have a lot of free time to explore the hostel.

I was genuinely a bit anxious and scared to start, but it was one of the most amazing and insightful experiences I've had volunteering! It really became like a family, and it truly feels like a home away from home. A lot of things become routine but in a good way, like Jumbos run, nights at Millers, twilight series runs in the cinema, and the wonderful smoking area. The hours are great (11-4) and there's a break at 1:00. The only thing that I wish I could've known, but wasn't a bother at all b/c of the teamwork, was that you also clean the hotel next door called the Monument. :)

My month at the hostel was the best. It was my first volunteer experience and it helped to be in such a great environment. the hostel is in a great location in the center of the hostel and the hostel is great to walk around. The work schedule is very consistent but also flexible around your schedule. I met some really amazing people from all over the world and made some great memories. Volunteering at the hostel was a truly unforgettable experience.

If it's your first-world packers experience, I would highly recommend volunteering at the king kool hostel. the hostel is located the hostel center, with plenty of train routes. I have made friends from all over the world & I have had a great time staying here! You work 4 days a week & 3 days off (can request also, which is usually respected). The work is fair and the hostel requires a high standard of cleaning (which makes it a nicer place tbh) Work starts always at 11 am, you get 30 minutes break at 1 pm and finish depending sometimes at 2.30 pm or sometimes 4 pm.

It was a very great experience! That was mostly because of the great team of volunteers staying there with me. We had a lot of fun in our free time:) One of the rooms volunteers live in is pretty small and has to fit a lot of people but my room was good and I enjoyed staying there.

My experience at the hostel was great. It was my first time volunteering and it was just what I was looking for. The host and the whole team are very nice and make you feel at home. the hostel is super cool and thanks to its location you can travel all over the Netherlands. The best of all is the good atmosphere and the volunteers you meet! I would definitely repeat!

It was my first time voluteering and I had an amazing time at King Kool hostel, I have met amazing people and had great experiencies that I will never forget. The staff and the volunteers are always helping you, so I definitely recommend for everyone.

I have honestly loved my one at the hostel, they have amazing staff that are Super helpful to the volunteers and the volunteers themselves have been amazing during my stay, couldn't recommend more! 10/10

Great experience! the hostel has very nice facilities and a great atmosphere. I met the coolest little bunch of volunteers and I'll forever carry them in my mind and heart. It's a very familiar environment, all the staff and volunteers have become a family to me. Hours were respected but sometimes the work can get a bit hard. I would highly recommend coming here and hope to visit soon! <3
