The experience

We are looking for a creative and reliable Social Media Content Creator to help grow the online presence of Will & Tate Citystay, our hostel & hotel in The Hague.

You will be responsible for creating and posting engaging visual content that captures the atmosphere, people, and experiences of our property. The goal is to increase visibility, engagement, and brand recognition, especially among young, international travelers.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 30 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

IMPORTANT : Work visa are not accepted. ONLY European Union Passport is accepted.

We like to think of worldpackers as an opportunity for cultural exchange. We love having a big team of international staff around the hostel and for them to also experience Dutch culture. Each volunteer will with us lasting a minimum of 1 month. In exchange, we offer free accommodation and food items such as cereal, pasta etc., and the opportunity to meet travelers from all over the world. But most importantly, we offer you a place to live right in the center of the beautiful city of the Hague. The place where you can swim an surf at the beach, enjoy the urban nightlife, and visit the best museums in the country. The Hague is the judicial capital of the world, and therefore a rich mix of cultures – truly, there is no place like The Hague!

Activities & Shift

We would like this to be broader than just social media content. For that reason, we estimate around twelve hours for general content creation.

We would also ask you to assist with two early shifts at the hostel, from 6:00 to 10:00 AM. These shifts involve cleaning the kitchen and the common areas.

This combination would be a perfect fit for us.
