The experience

Hello Friends of the world! We are creating Green-Classes and Eco camping in a countryside village in the northeast of Bulgaria. We are a French couple and have lived in this charming country for 10 years. Your contribution to the realization of this tourism project will allow the enhancement of the heritage of this region.
Each Saturdays we organize convivial barbecue/brazier evenings, so don't forget your musical instruments and your songs!

What you offer

16 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner French

Between 25 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

- renovation and development of the future campsite and children accommodation for green classes with French language,
- various works to improve interior comfort in the future guest house (painting, decoration...),
- expansion of the permaculture vegetable garden,
- renovation of the future goats and chikens 's park,
-renovation of the roof of a barn, future shelter for the goats,
- garden maintenance,
- manufacture of barbecues, rocket stove, solar oven,
- finish the work on the outdoor kitchen ...
- Taking great care of our little four-legged family during our rare and short absences,
- etc....

During your free time, you can collaborate to preparing sourdough bread or jams with garden fruits, cooking with wild plants, making homemade vinegar or ketchup, depending on harvest time, etc.

Activities & Shift

You will collaborate with us 3/4 hours per day max.
3 days off are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - This gives you time to travel around the country and visit magnificent places, even a little far from our place.
On the 4 working days, we will share dinner together which I prepare with local natural products.

The house is absolutely ideal for couples ! If you are not a couple, you'll have your own bedroom, of course !!
You will enjoy your own home with wooden terrace and private garden, with a dedicated working place with internet by optical fiber, ideal for remote working.

The rules of life in our family are quite demanding:
- Love life, people and all living creatures,
- Smile as often as possible :)) and have a positive spirit,
- Be satisfied with simple pleasures,
- Trusting yourself, moving forward and not being afraid to make decisions to surpass yourself,
- Do not regret anything but learn from past experiences,
- Be yourself !!!
