The experience

Creative Creative Jungle Space & Eco-Art Volunteer needed to help improve and redesign 🛠 our secret jungle hideout in Balangoda, Sri Lanka. This is our volunteer house, surrounded by forest and village life, and made up of a mud house, bamboo house, and a simple regular house. You can have a look and think for hours what little things would improve the places appeal and feel 💊🌿🚬❄🍄

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 7 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Program Details

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on volunteer to help improve and redesign our secret jungle hideout in Balangoda, Sri Lanka. This is our volunteer house, surrounded by forest and village life, and made up of a mud house, bamboo house, and a simple regular house.

Your role will be to rearrange spaces, redesign layouts, and add creative touches—wall art, murals, decorations, and nature-inspired design ideas. You’ll be working with basic tools and local or recycled materials, so creativity is key.

Perfect for artists, designers, architects, DIY lovers, or anyone who enjoys turning simple spaces into beautiful, functional places. No formal experience needed—just imagination, initiative, and a love for nature.

You’ll stay at our jungle volunteer house, experience simple eco-living, and leave a real, visible impact on the space for future volunteers.

This is a rural, low-resource setting, so flexibility and a positive attitude are important. If you enjoy creative freedom, jungle vibes, and meaningful hands-on work, this place is for you.

🧸You will have creative freedom, and your ideas will genuinely shape the space.

This position is suitable for volunteers who are:
