House and Petsit and rental turnover

The experience

We are going to Japan in March 2026 and are looking for someone to housesit and pet sit (2 outdoor cats that do not need much requirement)
I also have a log cabin on the property and if there are bookings you need to be available for turnover on check out dates and available for assistance with the sauna if they book that service. If you are a qualified massage therapist this is a bonus as I also have a treatment room.

What you offer

10 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Program Details

House sit
Pet sit
Log Cabin turnover which includes a full cleaning and sheet and towel change. It's Studio size. Takes one person approx 1hr 30mins. 2 people 45 mins.

Activities & Shift

Completely flexible. Only specific help needed if there are bookings in the log cabin. It is self check in so only requirement is for availability on check out days to clean and turnover. I have a sauna on the property so if they wish to book that you would need to be available to turn on Sauna and provide towels and show them to the area.

Rules

DO NOT APPLY if you can not fully commit to the dates in March now. As we are going to Japan I can not risk having last minute cancellations and change of mind. This is very important so please respect this fully.
YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN CAR TO ACCESS OUR HOME. We live only 15 minutes from Killarney but our house is located on a very isolated mountain road only accessible with your in own transport.
You will need to buy and cook your own food for this stay as largely there is very little work required and it's mostly a house sit opportunity.
