Help preserve traditional recipes that are disappearing.
Activities & Shift
❇️ For all of our volunteering positions, you will need to be able to work without much supervision, connecting with the host via WhatsApp during the day for questions. You have the freedom to work your 5hrs per day shift in a flexible way, respecting your own working pattern.
🎲 During the nights the host is at home, he loves playing games with the family! We will play some badminton, Carrom board (a traditional Indian game) and more. It is the moment to chill out, connect with our culture, and have deep, interesting talks about life and nature.
Rules
It is required that the volunteer plan their arrival to 8 pm (local time) on Fridays or Saturdays at 10 am. This will ensure the host to give full house tour, induction and planning of work distribution.
Volunteer may go through documents, videos, sites and social media content to absorb what Lieberearth Foundation is all about and what we are aiming to do.
Because of the nature of the host's work, volunteers need to be able to work independently and contact the host via WhatsApp. Since host is available all weekends, we request volunteer to take their 2 days off during the week. That means that on Saturdays & Sundays, you will be working alongside the host.
Mondays: work day, host not in
Tuesday: suggested off day
Wednesday: work day and the host will be in the house and interact with volunteers from 9 pm to 11:30 PM. Play games and talk about the project.
Thursday: volunteer can again take a day off
Friday: work day and the host will be available to interact with volunteers from 9 pm to 12 PM, for work update, and play sports, games, music, yoga, meditation, spiritual discussions.
Saturday : Host and Volunteer may plan for cycling around the town or village country in the morning, and later they will work together.
If no bonfire or workshop is planned then host can take volunteer for city tour, night lives, temple visits.
Sunday: Host and volunteer work together to plan work distribution for next week. Also possible to tour the city this day.
