This was my first volunteering experience and honestly I had the best time at Ban Bon Doi. The work itself is very rewarding as you speak with different students every day of different ages. Classes are delivered in the evening which means you have the whole day for yourself to do activities, relax and connect with other volunteers. I met many locals, explored their culture and everyone at Ban Bon Doi treat volunteers as family. I'm very thankful for this opportunity and I highly recommend it to everyone 😊

I really loved this place, you can connect with Nature, the staff is very kind, helpful and friendly, you feel like at home and food is delicious. the vibe is very nice and the other volunteers make it fun and lovely experience. Thank you so much to everyone and I hope to see you again. 🫶🤗

I had a great time volunteering for the school! i met a bunch of amazing people :) We got two home cooked meals a day which is great and well organized, there's also the possibility to go bamboo rafting as well as take a cooking class. I really felt welcomed by the hosts. And the teaching is quite doable, most adults want a conversation to practice their english, and for kids they provide a bunch of useful websites to use. i highly recommend this experience!

The owner and the staff are very kind and attentive. It's a very nice house, you'll love it. There's a bar near the house, definitely try the pizza there and the hamburger restaurant on the back road, the food is a bit spicy but it's nice, except for Sundays, there are 2 meals a day. Don't worry about the English lessons, they're like two friends chatting. If you're lucky like me, you can make great friends here too. I don't like but I loveeee

This place is absolutely amazing. The social aspect of it is really great, you meet so many great people from all around the world. I really like the work itself as well. You really get to know local Thai people, and develop your explanation skills. It's also a very idyllic location, like a little oasis outside the busy chiang mai center. Also you are surrounded by locals, so even going to a bar was such a cool authentic experience. Would highly recommend.
