Simplesmente adoramos a nossa experiência no hostel, o lugar é confortável, calmo e silêncio, tem uma política diferente dos outros hostels que estivemos (hostel parcialmente autossuficiente) e funciona super bem, as horas de trabalho são flexíveis, o serviço é fácil de ser feito e mantido, mas o voluntario precisa ser proativo e autogerenciável…
Fica um pouco longe do centro mas para quem gosta de caminhar dá para fazer muitas coisas a pé ou pegar ônibus. Adoramos Bratislava e esperamos um dia poder voltar.

I stayed at the Zen Zone Hostel for two weeks and it was a great experience. The hostel is practically self-sufficient; guests make their own beds and strip their own sheets, and the work is very relaxed, basically keeping the place clean and organized. The kitchen is well-equipped, so we cooked every day. The hostel is about 2 km from the center, you can get there by bus, but we walked. The larger supermarkets are also 2 km away, but there's a small one 200 meters away. Communication was very smooth, and I definitely want to go back!

The hostel is really nice, the name matches the place. The tasks are fine and you have plenty of time to explore around. It is small, so even when it is full you can handle everything. In general you manage your time, just be aware about check in and check out timing. It is about 25 to 30min walking from City center and easy to go, but to come back it is uphill, but still completely ok. Bratislava is an amazing city, with everything but still not huge. The hosts make you feel comfortable and give you a lot of autonomy.

We are not the only hostel that had a problem with you so dont try too look like a victim, you dont communicate and you left without any message. Avoid this guy at all cost.

El sitio es muy acogedor y tranquilo, con tareas fáciles y rápidas de hacer. El hostal está cerca del centro y pudimos hacer turismo. A tener en cuenta: durante la estadía no están los dueños y en nuestro caso no se nos explicó qué tareas exactas hacer (nos las explicó el anterior voluntario). Consideramos que se debería tener un control acerca del estado del hostal entre voluntarios, pues cuando llegamos el sitio estaba hecho una pena y nos tocó trabajar más de lo debido. Aun así, la
experiencia fue positiva: conocimos a gente muy agradable y pasamos un buen rato.
