Whangarei Heads

Come, stay and help at our place, a lifestyle property with countryside view, just 5-10min from Whangarei Heads beaches and tracks. The village is also 10min walk with a convenient store, a cafe, a gym! but not so much happen here.

We are surrounded by our neighbour's cows, sheep and lot of birds.

Our big long term project is to turn our place to a self sufficient home but we are just at the beginning of the project. We try to do most of the things ourselves, so it is a lot of learning... and fun!
We would love to host people to share skills, cultures and have fun after work.

We are a young family, Agathe, Clement and little Basile. We are French and have been in New Zealand since 2019, loving coastal-rural Whangarei Heads area. During the week we usually start our day around 6:30am, drop our son at daycare at 8am, work from home with a lunchbreak, pick up our son at daycare at 5pm then have dinner around 6pm (yeah... so early) and the little one goes to bed at 7:30pm (not for adults ;)). It does sound like a routine but we hope that having a guest will break that, we are not afraid of change ! The weekend program is more weather dependant: beach walks, kayaking, DIY projects and other fun activities. Our passion is scuba diving but we also like hiking, climbing, sailing... we are outdoor people but also like tucking inside and playing board games on rainy days.
