We have a open minded staff in here, we are welcoming and very supportive. We try to create the best condition for the volunteers. We are flexible on working hours and always find time to discuss and to take decisions together for the work schedule.

My time at Hotel Valza was wonderful! Easy work, two beautiful beaches 10min away, and Gerti is one of the kindest and nice person I've met. Highly recommend 😊

Gerti was very welcoming and kind. He offered us lifts into the town and wanted to be social with volunteers. The shifts were 4hrs a day, 6 days a week. 5/10 minute walk from the beach. A great way to relax and explore Vlorë. My shared accommodation was next door to the hotel and was very basic. Some volunteers stayed in the hotel. Overall the my experience was really great! Thank you Gerti!

Gerti is a very respectful, relaxed, and engaged host. The Valza Hotel is relatively new and located about a 10 minute drive from the city. While the area is still developing with more hotels being built nearby, there are a few beaches within walking distance.
Volunteers are expected to assist at the reception, during breakfast service by restocking food and clearing plates, and in the hotel restaurant with tasks similar to those of a waiter. The work can occasionally be demanding, but overall it is fair. The staff are extremely friendly, and our overall experience was positive.

I had an amazing experience at Valza and highly recommend it to anyone considering it. Gerti and his family are wonderful, as were the other volunteers—I truly miss the friends I made there! The hotel is just minutes from the beach and you will have plenty of time to enjoy it. Thank you Gerti for giving me the opportunity to join your team, I hope to see you all again one day!

We had a lot of fun staying with Gerti. We had to terminate our stay early due to a family emergency, but we felt a lot of understanding and the talking with Gerti is very easy and interesting. The offer was very honest and everyone was really friendly with us. We had a nice accommodation in a hotel room and access to the hotel breakfast. The tasks can be challenging at times but Gerti didn't put any pressure on us and was generally very kind and understanding. The atmosphere in general was nice. The hotel was close to the beach where we could chill in our free time.
