Travelers will find in Vagabonds a proper travelers' home.
A resting spot from the hikings, sailings or ridings of their lives. A cozy home were to chill under a blanket in front of the fire or sharing a glass with fellow ramblers.
Watch movies, talk of everything and nothing and get ready for a Irish pub at night!
Other than that we organize meals together, we party together..
And you always have enough free time to follow your projects.

The staff here is a big enlarged family. A lot of former volunteers live now in Belfast on their own but they still come visit the nest; some of them jumping back from the other side of the world just to pop in for one. On the job we help each other out and we are always flexible with shifts and chores. The job is 1,5 - 2 hours cleaning the hostel everyday, plus 1 afternoon shift and 1 breakfast shift per week where you are in charge of the reception. Totally 23-28 hours per week most of which you will spend on the couch chatting and laughing.

I enjoyed Vagabonds a lot. It is such a lovely place and from the moment I arrived it felt as if I was part of a dysfunctional family. volunteers are such lovely, friendly people.
The jobs are pretty simple and can be a quite enjoyable way to start the day, and reception shifts are very chill.
The bedrooms are comfortable, but are a little bit stuffy as they are in the attic, however there is always fresh bedding available and they are always a good temperature.
The only thing that could be improved upon is the amount of time off as you only get one day off a fortnight.

Vagabonds was such an amazing experience and I would recommend it to any traveler. You have the freedom to relax or try new exciting things in and around the hostel. I met some amazing volunteers and guests and made some great memories!

I had such a great time volunteering at Vagabonds! The vibe is super fun and social, perfect for meeting people from all over the world. The team is amazing, super welcoming, and made me feel right at home from day one. The work was chill and easy to manage. The hostel itself is cozy, in a perfect location, and there’s always something going on. I loved being part of the daily flow and getting to connect with so many awesome people. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and friendly place to stay and help out!

I had an amazing time at Vagabonds, I can’t recommend it enough. Great way to meet people from all over, very social place. The guys I worked with were unreal, so friendly and made me feel at home. The hostel itself is so cozy and the work is very easy. Bob is very chill and considerate organising shifts to accommodate any plans you have. Perfect location, everything is within walking distance, I had such a great time there was very sad to go.
