Toomuc Gully

If you love nature, horses and dogs my place is for you! I am located an hour from Melbourne. I am situated near the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, I am between Westernport and Port Philip Bay, close to Bunyip State Park, Healesville sanctuary. I am on the way to Wilson's prom.
I am on 40 acres with a lovely bush gully in the middle. It is not uncommon to see kangaroos on the front lawn.
There is a wild life sanctuary up the road always looking for assistance.

I am a dressage coach, horse trainer and agistment manager. I have several horses and 3 dogs. I am looking for people who are willing to help me to maintain my property and improve it. The job description will include housework too, mainly cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming the house and keeping on top of the kitchen and laundry. If you love cooking I would appreciate your skills! I always have a project on the go, so I am needing assistance completing them. Many hands make light work. I have a lovely big room with a tv, wifi, heating and air/ conditioning. This is seperate from the main house, so you will have your own space. The bathroom facility at the stable block, has an outdoor bath, massive shower and seperate toilet. At the stable block is a basic kitchen, microwave, large fridge, small oven, small stove. The stable block also has wifi. This is 100metres from your room. I will leave meals up to you, that is not my forte. I will organise a few staples like milk, bread, butte. We will organise a trip to the supermarket where you can buy your preferred food supplies. It is a very peaceful place to be whilst working. You will have use of the pool on your time off. I will give you a list to work through for your 6 hours a day. The rest of the day is yours to explore the surrounding bush. Or lie around the pool. I have a bike if you are wanting to go for a ride.

We had the most amazing time with Natasha, she was so welcoming and lovely it really made the whole experience a lot better, we were sad to leave as we wish we had a bit more time.Just the only thing we would have to say about our stay is that the living situation isn’t really ideal. The bathroom and kitchen are a long walk away from the bedroom which are also shared by other people who come onto the property throughout the week. The bedroom was in a garage, and we were kept up most nights by having mice in our room and had to throw away a lot of food due to this.

I have updated the description to include the distance between the room and bathroom. In future the bedroom will remain a bedroom so the food won't attract those pests back. They have been dealt with now! The joys of farm living.

We had a lovely time at Toomuc Valley! Natasha is a sweet, busy, and welcoming person, and all of the animals and other backpackers were great company. The work was clear and fun and it felt like we actually made a difference to the farm, animals, and Natasha.
You’re quite reliant of a car if you want to go to the city as there is no public transport close to the farm (but it’s also very nice to stay at the farm and get a break from the outside world😌)
Even though, the family was in the middle of moving, and we therefore didn’t have any WiFi, we still enjoyed our time here
