We’re a medium-sized hostel located right in the heart of Oaxaca City — one of the most beautiful and colorful places in Mexico! Ticuchi is just a 5–10 minute walk from the city’s main attractions, restaurants, authentic local spots, and artisan markets. You’ll also find Oaxaca’s lively nightlife, with its bars, clubs, and mezcalerías, just around the corner.

We’re known for having the best pool in town, a friendly and laid-back atmosphere, and a social vibe that makes it easy to connect with travelers from all over the world.

Our volunteer program stands out for its flexibility, fun community, and cultural immersion — and don’t worry, our volunteers don’t do any cleaning chores! You can help at the bar, reception, or even contribute your creativity by helping with social media content and events to keep Ticuchi’s good vibes alive online and onsite.
