The Crossroads

We promote the diversity opportunity for the absolute Cultural Exchange experience, where while our local Hellenic traditions are shared through cuisine, folklore dance lessons, local interaction, exploration of the most wonderful surroundings, Greek lessons etc the multi diverse crowd that completes the community lifestyle project also is required to offer the traditions of their origins!
We believe in the cultivation of the body the land and the mind.
Everything works out with good communication and cooperation.
We look forward to the best selves of each one.
We are highly experienced with 1000s volunteers to have passed by and contributed the last 7 years.

We treat every member of our project with respect in individuality, we believe in fair exchange and most of our participants experience their best volunteering opportunity.

Wonderful experience! Pam and alex are kind and open people (they took the volunteers on a holiday to one of the islands during our stay). The food is fresh and plentiful - you wont go hungry! Work hours are clear and respected, tasks are varied (eg: harvesting, making jam, laying stone paths and building an insect hotel). The grounds are BEAUTIFUL and there are so many places to relax. The team often go out together on day trips at the weekend. There are 5 lovely dogs. Many people return to the crossroads and recommend to family/friends. I wouldnt hesitate to apply ❤️

My experience at the Crossoroads was amazing! The community life there is very organized, people and the pets are incredible and the task are very joyful.
I had a full room just for me and the food provided was cooked by one of the volunteers who cook very good!

I liked the place a lot, especially cause you work with the same people everyday so there’s this “community” environment where you are able to create real connections. We also did lot of things together in our days off. I had a good time in there, I recommend them.

I'm so glad I spent the last 6 weeks here - and I even extend my stay! This place feels like a home away from home. The large garden offers plenty of sunny spots to relax, even in winter. I wasn’t used to being around dogs at first, but now I adore the five wonderful dogs here. Meals are freshly cooked by volunteers, and the work is varied, educational, and never boring. Everyone shares chores, creating a true sense of community. The hosts Alex and Pam are truly kind, very flexible, and really care about making everyone feel welcome. Thank you, Kokinakis family, for this amazing experience!
