The Breeze

The sea, the sun, the food! In one word: Sicily! 😊
In my country house there is a big garden with olives and grapes. And also a 20 meters long swimming pool!
And about my sailboat what to say…I love it!😊

As the best friends in the world! Volunteers here can have the best food in the world, a lot of sun and new friends, a little of work and a lot of relax and fun! 😊

My first Worldpackers experience was incredible! From the very beginning, Marianne and Emanoele welcomed me with so much kindness and care. Mari is such a sweetheart, always attentive and worried about making sure I felt good and comfortable. And Emanoele… what an amazing cook! The work environment was always respectful, with well-defined schedules and a calm, yet diverse routine. The house is a bit remote, but Emanoele was always willing to take me to visit several places nearby, which made the experience even more special. Their kindness and generosity went far beyond what I expected! <3

This was my first WorldPackers experience and it truly could not have been better. My time at Seredipa was outstanding—the work was satisfying and clearly communicated, Mariana was incredibly welcoming and full of good recommendations for what to see and do nearby, Emanuele cooked amazing food every day—I cherished every moment. The location, though not close to public transport, is walking distance from the beach and Emanuele and Marco are great about driving you to other locations, so I felt like I got to see a lot of the area despite being a ways out of town.

I really enjoyed my time at Seredipa! Everyone was super nice and made me feel welcome. The tasks are easy and the work hours are respected. It’s really rural but Emanuele and Marianna took me to some places with the car and we also went to Palermo twice. And there are beautiful beaches 30 minutes by foot from the house! I would really recommend volunteering there but just consider that there is not soo much to do without a car.

I had a really nice time in SerediPa! Ema and Marianna are absolute sweethearts and made me feel very welcome. Ema makes great food and took me on lots of tours to see the surrounding area, which I highly appreciated! When I wanted to I could also go with Marco to explore Palermo. The work itself was mostly self-structured - cleaning everything that needs cleaning and a bit of gardening. The only things that would have improved this is if there were other volunteers to share the experience with or more things (other than the beach) to do on my own.

Marco was a great host and he ensured that we experienced everything the area had to offer. His father cooked us amazing meals and took good care of us. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is willing to work hard and wants an immersive Sicilian experience with the most extraordinary swimming spots.
