Sea Natives Surf Camp

We are a small surf camp founded by an international tribe of friends with different backgrounds. Our mission is to create a place we call home and a community we call family. If you like to live in a community and experience the way of living close to a beach and (learn how to) surf skate en do yoga, then this can be a nice place for you:) We are mainly a family camp and this is how our crew usually feels as well.

As mentioned already our mission is to create a place we call home and a community we call family not only for guests but also for our crew. For crew we can offer free accommodation (private tent with a bed and electricity), free food (free drinks till a certain amount, you will get a budget to spend at the bar), joining the surf, skate and yoga lessons and make use off all the facilities of our camp and the campsite we are on. You work around 26 hours per week and 1 day off (we try to give you 2 days off, but this doesnt always work out) we are asking you to be flexible in case this is needed

Thank you for making this month unforgettable! I had the best time helping in the kitchen, but also surfing, skateboarding and just enjoying camp life together. It was really special to see how passionate each team member is about what they do. I am more than grateful, that you all shared this passion with me. I can only recommend volunteering at Sea Natives. The working hours were always fair and I enjoyed every single shift. I got to meet truly amazing people, making me feel at home. If I get the chance I would love to come back some day!

Sea natives was a really beautiful experience , the work hours were fair, easy and exactly and agreed upon- socially, they’ve created a home away from home, with plenty of time to surf, eat good food and relax, sea natives is a community that I hope my path crosses with again :)

The work experience is super chill and flexible.
Everything is really organized and clear about what they need from you!
They offer great food ( really great actually), a loving community, surfing, and lots of fun ❤️
I’m so glad I had the luck to end up there and I’m definitely going back ✨

I spent two weeks at Sea Natives in Praia da Tocha as part of the build-up crew, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From day one, the crew made me feel totally welcome – it felt like home straight away. The camp has such a relaxed, open vibe, and the community spirit is real. Work hours were exactly as agreed, which gave me plenty of time to surf, hang out, meet awesome people and soak up the atmosphere. Julia, Tim, Anouk, and the whole team are some of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve met. The place has heart, great energy, and great waves. Already missing it!
