Salento Biodinamic Farm
We are an international community. Building an innovative farm in the south of Italy the combines permaculture, elettrocolture and biodynamic practices. Respecting ancestral ways of living combined with innovation practices.
I have travelled the world and decided Salento to be the base for now. My partner is a certified Naturopath and holistic therapist. We believe in the healing properties of nature and our bodies. We are willing to create a sanctuary where every plant we have has a function. We take care of our community. We have many come backs and recurring volunteers that have choosen to regularly spend time with us to help us grow the project.

It was an amazing experience, immersing with nature is truly therapeutic; Chiara is an amazing host as well as Fede, they received me with open arms.
This project has Chiara’s vision and you can see it, I worked in the garden and took care of the animals which was beautiful <3

I really liked my stay at the farm, getting in touch with nature and socializing with other volunteers. The part that I enjoyed the most was with the animals, big lovable dogs and little cutie cats. The weather was not the best when I went, but the place, although it was partly outdoors, was very cozy. Chiara really loves this project and you can see it everywhere, a place to be yourself and be connected. Thank you for this experience✨

as a first project i got to see how a community works, which i found very valuable
the place seems cozy especially i imagine in warmer days /lots of hamaks oooh and dont get me starting on the kittens/ , and during my stay there had been quite some advancement at the construction so future volunteers will have it even more cozy haha

The farm is very much a work in progress Chiara and her support team of Fede and Ally (@ time of writing) are wonderful and the whole experience engaging, be warned at present (October ‘25) things are a little ‘Robinson Crusoe’ a wonderful outside hand constructed shower adds to the charm (but maybe not so appealing in the winter months)🥴and the toilet is currently a temporary ‘porta-loo’ shared with the builders who are renovating the house, this will be relatively short term and replaced once the house is complete. All in all a fantastic experience and I hope to return to see it complete.
