💡 A small request about cleanliness:
We kindly ask all volunteers to take care of personal hygiene — clean clothes, fresh breath, and no body odor. ✨ We want both you and our school to make a good impression. Don’t worry — we will support you with everything you need:
• Free access to a washing machine 🧺
• Free clothes (shirts and pants) 👕👖

You can also participate in free Muay Thai training sessions at the public park, and enjoy free access to one of the best public parks in Thailand.

Additionally, our host network in Chiang Mai allows you to explore the city, visit elephant camps, and join local tours. You will feel like part of our family, and you will never forget the experience of staying with us.

🌏 Welcome to Queen’s Landing Enhancement Skill School (The Academics Tutoring School) Hello, my name is Mint, and I am the manager of Queen’s Landing Enhancement Skill School / The Academics Tutoring School in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand. We are proud to have a supportive team of teachers who will guide and assist volunteers at all times. If u can not find it or missing please ASK!! Everything is provided, almost comparable to a luxury hotel. 🚩However, sometimes some appliances get broken because of volunteers’ use. The host never ignores this and always tries to find a repairman as soon as possible. So please understand and be patient. 🎓 The Experience We are looking for dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching and inspiring young minds. • Both native and non-native English speakers with different accents are welcome. • Our goal is to have teachers who can make students laugh, have fun, and enjoy learning English. • You will be responsible for reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities, such as picture descriptions, vocabulary practice, reading simple passages, and fun interactive games. We provide: • Plenty of books and teaching resources. • Access to the school’s printer, Wi-Fi-connected TV, and iPads for creative lesson planning. • A Thai translator to support you in class when needed. We also encourage volunteers to bring new ideas and techniques to keep lessons engaging, entertaining, and effective. 🕒 Schedule & Shifts • Teaching hours are flexible: some days 2–5 hours, other days no lessons at all. • The schedule may vary depending on the season, public holidays, and other volunteers. • We will always discuss your timetable with you in advance. • If you wish to travel during your stay in Thailand, just let us know — we are happy to adjust your schedule. We are a tutoring school, not a government school. Sometimes, if there are no classes or the students are absent, you can work on worksheets in Canva. 🤝 My Commitment as a Host I sincerely welcome all volunteers with the hope that they can stay in a happy, peaceful, and supportive environment. I am fully committed to caring for our international volunteers with sincerity, respect, and genuine hospitality. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please leave your email, WhatsApp, or Instagram so I can contact you. We look forward to welcoming you into our school family and creating meaningful experiences together. ❤️ • Meals will be provided only on teaching days. • On days off, meals will not be provided. Reason: Due to a difficult situation happened The host already provides free accommodation with air-conditioning and full facilities to ensure volunteers are comfortable. This is something very few hosts can offer at the same standard. I have already been offering much more than that. Therefore, providing meals only on teaching days is considered a fair and reasonable arrangement for both the host and the volunteers. This ensures a smooth stay and a positive experience for everyone. ✨ Snacks and food in the refrigerator are available for you to enjoy at any time. But sometimes on days off, the host often invites you to share meals together. So please don’t worry about food — I have never been strict about it. However, I set these rules for living together to ensure harmony. This ensures a smooth stay and a positive experience for everyone. ✨ we’ve got you covered, you’ll definitely love it! We’ve prepared everything to make your stay super smooth and enjoyable — so really, less than 5 stars just isn’t an option 😉✨ 🚫 Types of Volunteers “Not Suitable” for Our School 1. People looking for a free holiday • Join only to get free accommodation and food but have no real intention to teach or help. • More interested in traveling than volunteering. 2. People who don’t like or don’t have patience with children • Dislike noise or energetic classrooms. • Easily irritated when students are distracted. 3. People who are irresponsible / lack commitment • Leave early without notice. • Frequently late or absent. • Ignore the agreed schedule. 4. People who expect a highly structured teaching environment • Not flexible with Active Learning style (our school focuses on fun and interactive learning). 5. People who cannot live well with others • Do not like cleaning or following house rules. • Do not respect the host or other volunteers. • Create tension or negative atmosphere. 6. People who cannot adapt to a local Thai lifestyle • Expect hotel-level standards (luxury rooms, hot showers all the time, special meals every day). • Do not understand the simplicity of local life in a small Thai city. 7. People who are not open to communication / don’t ask questions • If they have problems but never tell the host, and later write negative reviews instead. I am looking for someone easy-going, who enjoys life and is ready to learn about the culture and natural way of life of Thai children. AIR CONDITIONER RULES 1.Rest time: 12:01 am 10:00 pm🫡 2.Use only: 10:00 pm - 11:45 am❄️ 3.Always turn off with the remote control👍 4.Turn off A/C 10-15 min before leaving👍 5.After turning off the air conditioner with the remote, please wait 10 minutes before switching off the main breaker. 7.If the air conditioner is still running, do not turn the breaker off. Doing so may cause a short circuit in the air- conditioning system, and the repair cost will be 5,000THB.💸 8. Please do not turn the air conditioner on and off repeatedly within a short period of time.🥲 For example, if you plan to leave the room for less than 2 hours, please leave the A/C on.If you will be away for more than 2 hours, please turn off the A/C and follow Rules 1–5.🫡 9.Turning the A/C on and off too often causes it to use extra electricity, which makes the electricity bill increase significantly.😠 10.Please do not turn the air conditioner on and off repeatedly within a short period of time.🥺 For example, if you plan to leave the room for less than 2 hours, please leave the A/C on. 🥲Turning on the air conditioner for less than an hour and then switching it off does not allow the unit to run efficiently. When it is forced to stop before reaching full operation, it uses even more energy.🥲 If you will be away for more than 2 hours, please turn off the A/C and follow Rules 1–5. 😡Turning the A/C on and off too frequently causes it to consume extra electricity, makes the electricity bill increase significantly, and can also cause the A/C to break down faster. 😱If the unit becomes damaged, the host will have additional repair costs and may no longer be able to support providing air-conditioning for volunteers in the future.🔥 Set the air conditioner to 25°C only. Do not set it lower. If you feel it’s not cool enough, you can adjust the A/C fan speed on the remote and also turn on the fan to help improve air circulation. This is Thailand — a hot country — and the A/C here can operate efficiently only at 25°C. 👗 Uniform 🥋 Please dress appropriately and modestly, preferably with long sleeves. The school can provide shirts and trousers if you need them. Please understand that you are in an educational environment, and as an English teacher, you serve as a role model for the students. Therefore, proper and respectful attire is very important for maintaining the school’s image. I kindly ask for volunteers who are comfortable with and committed to following our modest dress code only. I am open-minded toward smokers. One of my friends, a French woman, smokes, but she never caused any problems and never made the bedroom smell of cigarettes. However, in recent cases, what I have experienced has been disastrous. Some volunteers smoked in public areas, allowing the cigarette smell to drift into other people’s homes, which also led to negative reports about our school. So, Smoking is not acceptable from now on the smell can linger on your clothes and cause allergic reactions for our students. Additionally, all bedrooms are strictly non-smoking areas. When someone smokes, the host must spend a significant amount of time deep-cleaning all bedding and fabrics to remove the smell. This process can take up to a week, during which we are unable to welcome new volunteers. It causes serious inconvenience for us. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION

We had a great experience at Queens Landing. Mint is lovely and we enjoyed staying with her, including a day trip with her and her husband and the other volunteers - very fun. Accommodation is basic, but adequate. Food options are great! Teaching/tutoring is largely after 4pm during the week, it’d be good to know your hours the day before.

Me and my boyfriend stayed with Mint for 3 weeks and it was an amazing time! Mint was so nice and helped wherever she could, which made the stay very comfortable. She even took us to some events to get to know more about thai culture and it was truly amazing. The working hours are also good and you have enough time to explore or relax, we would definitely recommend this experience for everyone!
We loved it and are very thankful for the experience ❤️

I came back because I found a home at Mint's school. This time I stayed almost a month and if I could, I would stayed longer.

Mint takes care about all volunteers in many ways. We always have a bed, food and very often let us join different plans with her and her family.

Teaching is always different because ages are between 3-16 aprox. It's a good place to develop your skills to engage with kids.

Mint and Juan became great friends when I came the 1st time. So, I came for a 2nd round and we were 6 volunteers: it was a super fun experience.

I'm deeply grateful, again. See you soon 🥰
