Preschool in Hanoi

We have 2 schools in Hanoi. They are Reggio Emilia Inspired Preschool. Our school are at the new area of Hanoi, so it's quite, green, less polluted, but still convenient to visit the city at your free time. At weekend, you can go to Sapa, Halong bay, Ninh Bình. If you can stay 1 month with us, we will invite you a ticket to the show The quintessence of Tonkin to know more about Vietnam culture.

We are a young team who has passion about young education. We creat a comfortable environment for everyone, where they find themselves be treated as a member of a big Family

All in all I had a wonderful experience at Happytime Learning! My colleagues as well as my students were very friendly and engaging, making this an unforgettable experience. The communication with the staff and my host was easy and everyone tried their best to make me feel welcome. At the end of my stay I was invited to a cultural show farther from Hanoi, which I really enjoyed. I met great people and connected with the locals. If you are looking for a place to experience daily life in Vietnam and work with preschoolers, I’d definitely recommend this experience!

Absolutely amazing experience! The kids are super cute, and everyone is so kind and always smiling — you can really feel peace and kindness everywhere. The English teacher is passionate, loving, and professional, and you learn a lot from her. People here spread pure joy!

If you come alone, you might feel a bit lonely and need to use Google Translate (English–Vietnamese) to communicate, but it’s totally worth it.
Tip: Bring short-sleeved shirts to cover your shoulders, or ask about a uniform.

Duyen was the best host we could’ve possibly had! she was the sweetest, she took us out, she invited us over to eat with her family, and she always made sure we were comfortable. The kids were also really really really cute! we enjoyed teaching them especially the baby classes and the primary students during after school classes. they were so fun and they spoke really good english. The room was also really clean and the staff always made sure the classrooms were a safe and clean environment for the children. if you’re considering doing this you should take that step ASAP.

The children bring so much joy and laughter into the days here! All of them are full of personality and it was lovely to join there classes 😊
I felt comfortable and settled whilst staying in the space.
This was a very nice way to experience Vietnam & I am very grateful to the team for accommodating me ❤️

If you come in the summer be prepared to be placed at her summer camp instead. This effectively means staying at their house in the rural outskirts of Hanoi with no ability to travel into the city, kids are there 24/7, you share a room with the other volunteers or with camp kids, and you're expected to work hours in the morning, afternoon, and nighttime. This host has a continuous loop of volunteers at her house and businesses which results in many volunteers getting little to no welcome and a general feeling of being used for the host's financial gain.

Firstly, this is the job in my house, not for kindergarten, so 1* for this account is not fair, you know it Mei.
Secondly, the summer camp is just for 10 children, friends of my twin from school, with 4 - 5 volunteers staying to help. You just have to help 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon - is it too much for you? We charge money from parents just enough for foods, accommodation, renting cooker and cleaner, and free Ninh Binh or Halong bay tours at the end of each 2 weeks for you and the other volunteers. It's not a business camp. Seriously, I don't understand why are you so toxic to us after whatever we did for you. Sorry that you can't feel our friendly and warmly welcome, but we thought you like us till the moment we realize you disappeared.
Your skills are good, but I am so disappointed with your behaviors.
