Pipeline hostel
This place is a pueblo mágico it’s beautiful we are right in the centre of everything, we have some of the worlds best surfing, so much marine life, and skydiving right on the beach infront of the hostel! It’s great for outdoorsy adventurous people and there is opportunity for paid work as I am soon opening a Jamaican resturant
Everyone here is good vibes and we all are like a little family we share food, joints, moments, laughs. We get to know eachother and work as a team. We get local perks as well for some of the clubs to get in for free and skip lines !

Rasta has been a great host to me for my entire 1 month stay. He has been flexible, easy to communicate with, and always friendly. The hostel's location is great because it's right on the beach and on the main drag in Zicatela. Facilities at the hostel covered my basic needs, nothing fancy. I hope to be back soon. Would definitely recommend this host. Thank you Rasta!

This was my first volunteer experience in my life and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Staying at the hostel invited me to get in touch with so many new people from various places all the while learning and being immersed in new languages. Brendan (the host) was accommodating and tried to make sure everyone had what they needed. I worked in the restaurant which provided the opportunity to learn bartending, and practice my Spanish with the local community. Volunteering here was a great time and Im glad I came! Thanks for everything Pipeline!

My experience was mixed : the hostel was in poor condition: I was promised a private room but got a dark dorm with no AC or windows, and the common areas were very dirty. Promises from the profile (discounts, events, surfboards, …) were not kept. The restaurant work was fun! Julian, always here for you for whatever you need, and meeting the other volunteers was the best part. Working hours matched what was described. But I sometimes felt uncomfortable around the hostel owner (and I’m not the only girl that felt that way). So I wouldn’t recommend going there even tho I met incredible people :(

I’m sorry the hostel was not up to your ac standards we did not promise you a private room & we did and still do have 2 surf boards but they are not beginner boards that’s why you couldn’t ride, we have two surf instructors who gave the other girls classes with a discount and multiple times I got the crew into the clubs at a discount rate/free. I try my best to accommodate everyone to my abilities but this review was abit false & every other girl from your time you stayed wrote good reviews
