Nature Campsite De Kemphaan
We are a nature campsite located on the edge of a forest. A lovely environment to stay in. The atmosphere is relaxed and so are the guests who come there. The restaurant is right next to the campsite, also in a beautiful spot by the water. When I first arrived at the campsite and restaurant, I fell in love instantly. So wonderful to be there. From the campsite you can also get to the centre of Amsterdam in no time. By bus and train, you can be at Amsterdam Central Station within 45 minutes. We normally have several Worldpackers at the campsite at the same time so there are always people to hang around with.
My name is Arnoud. I have a dream and that is to make the places I own as nice and enjoyable as possible. Preferably with nice people from all over the world. The approach is therefore mainly that we work together and that everyone takes their own responsibility. So we do it together. That is very important. You have to have a heart for the business, but then you are also directly part of the family. So the magic word with us is: Together....

The whole experience was really great, I met people with whom I shared good moments, good experiences, and good conversations. I’ll cherish it a lot. Sleeping in the caravan was an experience. Arnoud covered all the food expenses, I worked at the campsite which was quite calm, and hanging out at the restaurant was really fun. I will come back

Job is easy and staying in the nature is beautiful. Arnoud is always available to have a talk regarding anything about the job and creativity is allowed here. You can even choose what you want to do so if you feel more comfortable working at the restaurant you can ask to work there. If you like gardening you can ask to do that and if you are nice to ask then the answer is going to be yes. Arnoud is very friendly and easy to deal with

Such an amazing experience! Amazing place to stay, we helped out in the restaurant and it was just great, the place is stunning, the food is delicious, the kitchen experience is fantastic, you gotta be aware a kitchen is not easy, everything must work as perfect as it can be, so you gotta keep that on mind, but if you enjoy bartending, customer service, then it’s gonna be pretty easy and you’ll enjoy it a lot, you’re gonna learn a lot as well, so I really recommend this experience. You’re like an hour from Amsterdam by train, so it really worth it if you want to go there to explore.

Very light experience, pleasant and well-structured place, I was able to live with incredible people, during that time I did gardening, maintenance and cleaning, working hours are respected and you have privacy. This experience can provide a good time for international travelers.
