Mindful Farm had the biggest impact on me. This was my first volunteer experience, and I am hooked.

The amount of insight and perspective gained from just staying at the farm was difficult to comprehend in the first few days, and this is excluding the privilege of being able to learn about Buddhism from Pi Nan’s 30 years of experience as a monk.

Buddhism has been an interest for a while but, my understanding of it, and the rest of my life has genuinely shifted so much.

There’s too much to list on what I enjoyed, but all I will say is Chef Pi Nan is in serious business.

Staying at the mindful farm was an experience I will never forget. Thanks to Pi Nan, me and the other volunteers had an amazing time, learning about sustainable farming and buddhism as well. The food was also really good, we cooked with what we found on the farm and everything was vegan (which made me, a vegan, very happy)! Overall I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to learn about the local life, sustainable farming and buddhism. I loved it here! :)

I totally recommend this experience. Pi Nan is an enlightened human being who always cares about everyone’s well-being. He is a super host, teaching us with so much patience and sharing a bit of the immense wisdom he carries. I definitely became a different person after this volunteer experience. Every day we had very nutritious and delicious meals. I had so much fun and will carry these memories in my heart forever. Mindful Farm: the place that makes you feel like you belong, thousands of kilometers from home 🙏🏻✨

My time at Mindful Farm was wonderful! Pi Nan is very kind and teaches you a lot about his village. The structure of the day is very nice: you work in the morning and have free time in the afternoon and evening. You also cook every meal with Pi Nan and the other volunteers, which provided an authentic way to learn about Thai cooking. Pi Nan also showed us around his village, and we got to meet his friends. Overall, Mindful Farm was a lovely experience. Thank you Pi Nan!

I really enjoyed my experience at the Mindful Farm. It was very peaceful and Pi Nan and Noriko are very kind people. Working in the garden and the mud house was fun and easy. We cooked and ate together and when Pi Nan had time he talked about Buddhism after dinner.
