Mayanah Bacalar
Mayanah is a hotel with a great location, very close to the bus terminal and multiple transportation services, close to the local market and new super markets in the town, a few blocks walk from the lagoon, which is the jewel of the place.
Volunteers are treated as collaborative partners and guests at the same time. They will have the opportunity to enjoy the property in general and collaborate with local people in daily duties

Mayanah en Bacalar, se volvió mi casa, un ambiente supeeer agradable para estar y trabajar, tiempo para disfrutar de la laguna, la alberca del hotel y seguir conociendo. Miguel y Armando son muy pacientes para enseñar y compartir el conocimiento del manejo del lugar, muy respetuosos y amigables. En el hotel está un departamento asignado solo para voluntarios que en mi caso no me tocó compartirlo porque era la única, por lo que estuve muy agusto, pero supe que en ocasiones están dos, entonces toca compartir entre nosotros mismos. Planeo volver pronto, muchas graciaaass Mayanah!!

I had an amazing time at the mayanah hotel. The host is super friendly and invited me to meet his friends and go to cool events. The tasks are very easy to learn and the team at mayanah made it so easy to feel welcome and at home. The accomodation is located within the hotel, which was a huge benefit. I enjoyed my time and I would really like to volunteer again!

"Es mi segunda vez aquí y con gusto regresaría. Bacalar es un lugar muy tranquilo, ideal si buscas tiempo para ti y para conectar con la naturaleza. El trabajo es muy relajado, los horarios se respetan perfectamente y el anfitrión es muy amable y flexible."

Mi primera vez trabajando en recepción de un hotel y la experiencia fue súper chila, Maria (recamarista), Armando (mantenimiento) y el velador, siempre amigables, pacientes conmigo, cuando necesitaba apoyo siempre estaban ahí para ayudarme, y de Miguel (manager) al pendiente en todo momento y rápido para solucionar cualquier problema, mucho valioso aún, siempre trato de incluirme y de hacerme sentir como en casa. Los horarios y descansos cumplidos 100% además de ayudarme ajustando mi horario a mis tiempos libres de mi trabajo remoto. Bacalar mi segundo hogar.
