Mariposa Azul - Carate Camp

Our volunteer program offers a unique and immersive conservation experience in one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth, the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. Volunteers actively protect sea turtles, restore beach habitats, and engage with the local community, making a real impact on environmental conservation. This is a hands-on opportunity to live sustainably, connect with nature, and develop new skills while working alongside passionate conservationists. With structured activities, free time for exploration, and eco-friendly accommodations, volunteers enjoy a rewarding balance of work and adventure in a breathtaking setting.

Our dedicated team of local and international conservationists, biologists, and volunteers is committed to mentoring, guiding, and supporting volunteers throughout their stay. Volunteers will be treated with respect, kindness, and inclusivity, ensuring a safe, collaborative, and enriching experience. Our team provides structured guidance during conservation work, ensuring volunteers feel welcomed, valued, and part of a bigger mission. We believe in open communication, teamwork, and fostering a positive, friendly atmosphere, where every volunteer has the chance to learn, contribute, and grow while enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
