Volunteering at Lola Backpacker Hostel was a beautiful experience that I will carry with me. I made genuine friendships, practiced my English every day, learned a lot about hostel management, and truly enjoyed life in the amazing city of Istanbul.

The hostel is calm, cozy, and perfectly located, a place that really feels like home. Saying goodbye to the staff (Faruk, Burcu, Faith Lola and Kebab hahaha) and fellow volunteers (Ana) was not easy, but girls, remember that you can always "stand under my umbrella". Hope to see you guys soon! Mi casa es su casa! Love you all :)

Lola isn’t just a hostel, it’s a meeting point for true travelers. It was the richest experience of my whole trip. I met people from places where I’d never met anyone before, we shared life stories, travel adventures, walks out and parties. I made good friends and learned about Turkish culture. The location is great for exploring both touristy and local places. Tasks are easy and you get plenty of free time. Farruk is a peaceful soul with many travel stories and cooks well. I’m deeply grateful. I’ll miss sweet Lola, the cheeky Ufo, Kebab, and their cute newborn babies. I’ll be back, for sure!

I really enjoy my tine in Lola Backpackers, the hostel is really nice, and the location is perfect for getting to know a fantastic city like Istanbul. Faruk is a really good guy who is always available to help. I recommend it

Fue una experiencia hermosa, Farouk es una persona muy respetuosa y ante todo busca soluciones para mejorar nuestra estancia en el hostel, disfrute mucho el voluntariado, fue muy relajado y me permitió conocer la ciudad, el hostel tiene una ubicación muy cercana a Galata towel! Sin duda un voluntariado que recomiendo vivir ♥️

Being immersed in the center of a city like Istanbul helps you with mobility and provides you with alternatives to be able to socialize and immerse yourself in the culture. The diversity of cultures can be experienced with open hands in this hostel where every day you face meeting people from many places in the world. The tasks are what you can usually expect in a hotel environment. The infrastructure is old and during my stay the hostel maintained an adequate order and cleanliness, although that can also vary according to the travelers staying there. COMPLETELY IN LOVE the LOLA. Buen lugar
