Family is wherever ever you feel at home!

I had an incredible time at the hostel, from the moment you arrive you feel part of a amazing family. I have no words to David and all the staff members, I had the time of my life and I hope I can go back. Flexibility, fun, surf, Cascais is near a lot of amazing places that you can go and visit, it was amazing, a little piece of my soul is now in Portugal 🇵🇹 Até já 🫶🏽

La mejor de todas las experiencias, me sentí súper conectada con el equipo, con los huéspedes, con el lugar. Pude recorrer mucho y aprender a surfear, todo el equipo fue súper amoroso, solo buenas vibes. El hostel tiene un encanto particular y se siente como en casa. Me sentí en familia y sin duda volveré 🦋🌻 espero que pronto.

The experience there was amazing, David and Drica were pretty good with everything, location was amazing (Lidl is 1min walk lol) and there was this banger pizza place nearby called Pizza +39.

Overall experience was pretty good and enjoyable.

I spent all of July volunteering at the surf camp with my best friend and it was an amazing experience filled with friendships, surf lessons, and many adventures. The work was fair and my role included cleaning, breakfast setup, check ins, and check outs. There was plenty of time to explore Cascais and the neighboring cities. Drica was so welcoming and hardworking, and the volunteer team felt like a family that I will always remember. The only downside was that we were sometimes asked to move rooms or beds to accommodate guests with little notice, but I would still recommend this experience!

Great & practice location. Several issues affected my stay. Main problem: organization & communication. A lot of changing plan and last minute task. The agreed exchange of work for benefits was not fully respected, extra hours are required to do surf lessons for exemple. Never heard of yoga or anything other tours that was inside the “what you get” spacing in Wp. I felt unheard when it cames to talk about concerns or feedback.. David keeps jumping topics and i could not really place a word in the conversation, making it hard to feel truly listened. Could have potentiel but not what i expected

We was very clear during all our conversations before you arrive, its a shame that you come here to lie about things that we have proofs.. our mistake was having you here so long, bad work and energy in many ways.. even other volunteer complain about you.. you went here just for party and "surfing" or look for surfers.. but firts there are responsabilitys.. about the last minute changes its normal when you work in the high season, when there is a new team and changes with guests etc..
