Lemongrass Hostel

Lemongrass is a small, authentic and cosy hostel. A home for backpackers and everyone who shares the spirit of hostel life. The ideal place for travellers who come to Cyprus and prefer a real home-like stay, whilst exploring our beautiful sunny island.

The hostel is located in the heart of the city, in a safe, quiet and secure neighborhood, only ten minutes away from downtown and the promenade.

Lemongrass Hostel is not just a place to spend a nights. it’s also a great place to meet new friends!

We enjoy to make people to feel like at home. Hostel is my own property and I care about it with love , it’s decorated with mosaics outside and works of local and international artists inside.

I had such a great time at Lemongrass Hostel that I decided to extend one more month. The work is easy and straight forward and Petros is always around if you have any questions. This is a great place to rest and recharge, the beach is nearby, the rythm of life is slow, food is good and the sun shines. I totally recommend this volunteering!

Being at Lemongrass Hostel has truly been an incredible experience & has brought me so much growth. I honestly never thought I would like it as much as I do & have such an amazing time. This was my first time staying in a hostel & volunteering. Of course I was overwhelmed, out of my comfort zone especially being an introvert but I forced myself to embrace it & be open. I can’t begin to explain how much fun it has been, how many friends I’ve made, how many opportunities have come my way. I am so happy & grateful to Petros for giving me a chance. It’s AMAZING.

My experience was very good! I even extended my stay. The hostel is small, very peaceful, cozy, and has a great atmosphere. Petros is very friendly and flexible, always willing to help. The tasks are simple and well-organized, allowing plenty of free time to explore the city. The location is also great! Besides that, I had the opportunity to meet wonderful people during my stay and also improve my English. Thank you so much for the opportunity, Petros!

If you are looking for a cozy and welcoming place where you can connect and meet other travelers this is the place!
The chores are really simple and easy-going, once you're in sync with the other volunteer it should take no more than two hours, but being proactive and doing things by yourself to make the hostel even more welcoming is highly appreciated.
I decided to extend my stay here for one more month, Petros is a great host and is always enjoyable to have a talk about anything with him, and also to practice my Greek a little bit.

i honestly think that this is one of the best volunteering experiences that there are out there. Petros is a super welcoming and understanding host and the work is really light so you get time to explore the city and connect with the locals. Also the hostel is pretty small and the vibes are familiar so you really get to know the guests as well. thank you for this time in cyprus!🫶🏼
