Language and Culture Exchange Community in Busan, South Korea

The best place to enjoy your traveling and staying in Korea. Meeting a life of friends from Korea and all of the world. Learning and experiencing everything about Korea.

I started this project, named LanCul (Language and Culture) for foreign travelers to meet Korean friends and learn Korean language and culture as well as Korean English learners to meet foreign friends and talk in English with them. Our community provides warm and lively space to Korean students and volunteers to interact each other. They meet and talk in English about a variety of topics, cultures and ideas. Foreign community members can also share their experience and information with other volunteers from all of the world. I am looking for volunteers who can help Korean members improve their English and help run our community.

This experience was an absolute blast! The team is super friendly and very easy going as well as the students. One of the locations is a bit far from the city but its a nice neighborhood were you have everything you need. Totally recommend this magical place. I had the best time!

Busan is a lovely place to visit and I enjoyed my time there and this program :) The managers and everyone made me feel welcomed. The job is straight forward and simple. There are some challenging students, but most of the students are enjoyable to speak with. You really can dive into the community here and meet plenty of locals.

I miss it already! Volunteering at Lancul was such a great experience, everyone was welcoming. You work 3 hours a day, afternoon shift or evening shift which gives you the time to explore the city. The dorm is also very clean and organized. This experience made me very happy, I was able to make friends with locals and also international travelers which I loved ! :)
Thank you Andy, thank you Jas, and thank you Diana <3
PS : if it was not clear enough, yes I would recommend this place to volunteer

I was a volunteer at the language exchange in Busan for three weeks. Andy provided the volunteer schedule in advance, and was supportive, responsive, and flexible. The position was 15 hours per week, and I was able to explore Busan in my personal time. It was a great opportunity to connect with locals and other volunteers, and learn more about Korean culture! Thank you for the experience, Andy!
