we are very international hostel and have helper from all over the world we run a small cozy family hostel in a lovely mountain Area -Alps mountain (close to Munich) with a view to the famous castle Neuschwanstein which is visited by 1,5 mln tourist from all over the world.

At first everything was fine, but in the second week the host refused to give me my day off and pushed me to move it to the next week. I said this was not acceptable, since they offer one day off per week. They seem to do this often, as I found a note in the kitchen from another volunteer apologizing for asking for her day off. It was clear the hosts expect volunteers to adjust to their needs, and if not, they threaten you with leaving, knowing you have nowhere else to go. I was kicked out right before my birthday and after New Year’s, which made it very hard to find another place due the seas

I loved my time at LA House! Lahdo and Aga are amazing hosts, they are flexible and considerate of your needs, and the work is simple. I felt very comfortable with the tasks they asked me to do, and the accomodations were very comfortable! The area is great as well, there's so much to do in your free time. I hope to come back again someday soon :)
